English Premier League 2024-25
2024-2025 EPL Preview
Man City have set another record with 115 charges of financial shenanigans and also managed to win
It isn't a step back obviously overall. Bigger fan base, bigger budget, bigger club, more visibility for him, etc etc etc. I realize you're being hilarious and obtuse.
The question is more "why the **** would anyone want to work under Levy if they want to achieve anything".

yea it was obviously a dig at tottenham current season and form and everyone knows tottenham is the bigger club than bournemouth in every aspect.
But yea if Levy keeps on being Levy this might not be the case in the future.
Unfortunately Spurs will always have a much bigger fan base than B'mouth because the few people on the South coast who aren't pensioners can also support S'ton or Brighton (or Pompeii) whereas Spurs have a large densely populated catchment area all to themselves.

Yes there are famously no other football clubs near to North/East London/Home Counties
We sure are picking a fine point of the season to start shitting the bed
Easter Monday game gonna be huge.

Getting a fat check to get sacked after 18 months isnβt such a bad thing though. Itβs worked out for managers at both of our clubs and especially for Mourinho

Nice, this is nice
I did not expect those outcomes this evening.
To go from 3rd to 1st just shows how mega this league is
I just looked down the table as I’ve mostly paid attention to Leeds/Burnley/Sheffield United, but where the hell did Bristol City come from in the last 6 weeks?
They’re normally just floating around 10th from what I remember and never threatening a playoff place.
The upturn from Milwall and (Frank Lampard’s) Coventry might have a telling impact come the playoffs
Looks like Salah and VVD are close to signing
Levy has spent something like Β£500m netto while Ange has been in charge - you can't really accuse him of not backing him.
I'm not nor have I ever.
Issue is that a) he's still involved in the football side when he shouldn't be, b) pur recruitment has largely been meh (though i like most of our signings the past year or two), c) recruitment has focused on young players but the biggest one is d) we don't pay competitive wages for the top players

One of the best teams to play is at BL all season
When they played us in the cup last season they were a really horrible, snide side. Are they still the same? They've done really well to emerge from the mid-table scrum to muscle into the play-offs.
Also the two from three places thing at the top looks like a lot of fun (unless you support one of those three teams, when it is terrifying).
Ange ball off to a good start in the Europa
Onana with a shocker, he's got to be the worst keeper in the league
Inter fans seemed to like him, and for Ajax he was increasingly decent before his doping suspension, with one terrific season, and a bit meh afterwards if I recall correctly. Football is so very weird and goalkeepers especially. And obviously United is cursed.
Probably missed by many but former Ajax teammate Tagliafico properly baffled immediately after yesterday's 1-0 :

Plymouth appears to be populated by half of S2 right now
Back to the top, over to you Yorkies.
