this seems simple

find one end card word to do and then they can figure out what c4 is

also c5 should be easy to figure out and confirm

only issue is that JOVWRG seem like nut low letter pull for this

g7 would work tho

I think either j5 or w6/7 should get it if they can deduce c4, and it's probably a better card to get rid of than RG.

Figured out the j5(or I guess J6 here), and w5/6

Feels like several things should be fine and they can hopefully deduce c4

I don't love J5 but it does open C so let's do that.

Are there any dessert wines that fit as confirmers? The only ones I can think of right now are port and Madeira, which is no help. Is claret a dessert wine?

That’s all I’ve got. I’m fine with dessert if you are. I’d consider pastry given the confirmers I’ve thought of, but obv the clue wouldn’t have been jell-o.
