MeetUp game Stud in VEGAS

Several years ago we tried to get a regular 12/24 Stud 8 game going, and it did a few times, but they were very reluctant to spread it. Once we had a whole table of players leave and go to play it at Bellagio.
15/30 OE ran at Orleans this past summer probably once a week, sometimes more, particularly on days with a mixed game tourney. Also it does not take a promo drop, so no Omaha or Stud BBJ in play so they were only taking $5. If the 8/16 O8 regs found themselves all looking at each other the game usually broke because if they are playing against one another they would rather be eligible for the BBJ table/roomshare.
If you had 8 in the room willing to sit I believe they would accommodate a stud8, stud less likely.
I wasn't there this past summer, but when I was a few years ago, the house seemed worried that the Stud 8 game we wanted to play would cannibalize the 8/16 O8 game, and possibly result in less rake, thinking that Stud 8 hands are very slow.
And of course they often are very slow, but the 8/16 O8 game was very slow as well.
Cool that they had a 15/30 OE game though. When I was in town they sometimes had a 15/30 O8 game, but I never saw any OE game there. I did once play 15/30 OE at the Rio during the WSOP.

If one of their regulars who wants to make a 15/30 OE list they will take it more serious, if its kind of an out of town meetup situation, much less likely to be considered, especially if its not red chip. A pink chip OE or S8 def not happening.
The bigger problem in the game was 3rd man walking during stud round when I played it.
You probably have to bring all of your own people and go to a room that has capacity during wsop and would be happy to spread

There’s literally four games of 4/8 Mix running right now at Bellagio.
Going to be tough to find other Stud games exclusively. Majority will be featured and included some sort of Mixed game format.
That’s actually part of a mixed game festival they have going. I sat for a few hours yesterday it’s entertaining, there were a lot of stud variants but also good deal or draw, dramaha etc. I still recommend it.

Just curious, what are the ante and bring in?
When I played it was a $2 ante $2 bring in and $8 complete, if a 1/2 kill $12 starts left of the kill.

When it’s already been answered a few times it can be overbearing (and given that mods moved this out of NVG to a thread where you already asked they seem to agree)
Mix festival goes off once a year but those guys might play 50 different games
To get a 8/16 stud game in Vegas you need to
1) organize 5-7 players on your own
2) go to Resorts world (other places might work but at RW they always have capacity and willing to deal anything)
