I personally didn't find it be stressful at all. Nothing is at stake. I just found it to be annoying and not enjoyable.

Why would a person want to become a MOD? I have a theory. I bet a lot of MOD's were bullied when they were young and this is a good way of coming into "power" and getting revenge. Coordi is doing it right though. The threads have been much more fun to participate in. The lesson here is less is more.

I searched but couldn't find this.
**** the Scottsdale police also.
And the Tempe police.
Mesa police are ok.

I didn't see anything either. It's possible they just had the perp at gun point but on the ground. He looked deceased but he probably followed orders and that's why he wasn't shot. Go figure! It looks like the police did another great job.

nobody said there is a "need", but life is pretty miserable without social drinking if you can handle it properly

Like that is weird. Yeah, social drinking is fun, but no, life is not pretty miserable without it.

It looks like you're not a reliable witness.

jaun valdez was banned numerous times much to his chagrin, but I'm not sure he was ever permad and then unbanned. His idea of citing support for his race claims was usually posting a link to an hour long Jordan Peterson video.

Jordan Peterson is brilliant.

I wonder if those who were banned under Wookie could be eligible for reinstatement? I had a talk with one of the higher ups at the time of my "ban" and he took my side and reinstated me.

Another amazing read by you. I don't recall ever being bullied when I was young.

Hoo boy, that's a red flag for sure.

What about crying while driving?

I have a theory.

We all know where your theories are formed...

....and Scrubs has a scene for every occasion.

Yes, it's called social alcoholism (really). Relying on drinking in social situations. Someone that is miserable in social situations without drinking would certainly qualify.

if you don't drink you aren't part of the most interesting social situations as a young adult, simple as that.

it's not about needing to drink to be able to be in social situations here, it's about if you don't drink you aren't part of the good social situations (at evening-night).

especially in a culture where it's not considered bad to drink and drinking in a responsible way is the cultural norm (they don't get drunk at 7pm around here like the degenerates from northern Europe).

you are not supposed to drink when doing something at 11am or at 3pm. but the actual interesting social things all happen at dark.

I got esophagitis in Italy the first I went bc there was soooo much ****ing wine

I'm not miserable without it but social drinking has been an awesomely good part of my life. I appreciate it's not for everyone.

ye we were talking from 16 to young adult, later it can be different.

and it isn't for everyone mostly for genetical reasons, some people can't drink alcohol regularly and be well.

I pity then same as I pity those who can't eat red pepper or digest mozzarella

Personally I'm talking from 14 to bloody old.

by Crossnerd m

now imagine if that had really strong genetical predisposition elements and your ancestors mostly drank wine in the last 100+ generations.

now imagine that over capita consumption 60-70 years ago was more than double today. we reached a peak over 150 liters/year per over 18 in society, France touched almost 200.

given approx half women were tee to talkers even back then (almost no men was), that means 1 liter/day was normal for the absolutely normal man in society.

before it was less only because wine isn't free.

now we can either do like radical leftists do and consider something that was routine until very recently as a disease or condition, to pathologise normality because you hate culture tradition and history like gorgo does, or accept it was something that worked very well (and also came with some of the highest life expectancies worldwide).

You have a strange way of thinking every post is about you.

In the 20 plus years I have been posting in these forums these are the only two who have given me bans. Two of the least popular MOD's.

BTW...Where is that Wookie guy at these days?

Yeah I asked that a while ago and a couple of his buddies responded but didnt answer the question. He was an orange mod which I think means you get to participate in satanic rituals or something like that with admin. Not sure about that but it's more than a green mod afaik.

Wookie is a freak and a very weird dude. I just assumed he did something weird and the new admin stripped his mod status. Once he lost that he could no longer abuse people so he left. Anyways his buddies still post here and I'm sure they know what actually happened

Who are his buddies? Is everyone referring to Trolly in the plural?

I would guess Wookie asked to be demodded and left the forum on his own terms.

They may have stripped it after he wrongfully banned me. That's a shame when people can't handle their emotions and take it out on others.

There is a guy on a site called Debate Politics. RedAkston. I wonder if it's him. Very similar. Gets outraged drinking a glass of water.

You have been banned from other politics forums, specifically the site you just mentioned, so you have that going for you.

by mongidig m

It wasn't specifically about me. It was a generalization about current and past moderators of this forum. I used to be a mod.

by microbet m

Who are his buddies?

I was wondering the same thing.

Not everything is about you.

I would definitely bet that he resigned.

And he posts, as MrWookie, on a politics site that has been mentioned a bunch of times on 2p2.
