it says poker will not count on the email

As it always does

Yeah, and I actually called about it once and they told me it didn't count.

Unless I am playing at the local pokerless Harrahs Philadelphia to take advantage of a tier multiplier, I am playing poker anyway. If they happen to credit me for the multiplier while playing poker even though they specifically disallow it, well, lucky me.

I have never seen a tier multiplier that involves poker.

Video poker is a slot machine

Video poker is a slot machine

🙄

Didn't know 2+2 was a video poker site.

I obviously mean actual poker. You know, the thing we discuss in this forum.

For those who are still unaware, I don't mean carnival poker games like Texas Hold Em or Three Card Poker either, which do qualify for tier multipliers as far as I know. I didn't think I needed to be clear about that but here we are.

The question referenced video poker. Some sites did 10x on video poker last month and some did not. Even on the 5x it varies so always check the details at the site you are going to.

Agree don’t recall live poker ever being included. I am not even sure every location even gives TC for live poker. Though at least some do.

You may or may not be technically correct. But I will promise you the in at least one site that participated in the recent 10x, they specifically stated video poker was capped at 2x. (Horseshoe Lake Charles). So maybe VP is a slot machine but the multiplier rules were specifically different. I guess CET doesn’t agree with you.

Obviously the primary focus is “real” poker but other topics get discussed. And video poker was specifically mentioned in this particular discussion.

anyone tried the new noodle bar?

I see that it says 2x cap on the reward credit multiplier, but on the tier credit multiplier I couldn't find that.

They are currently no longer advertising the 10x TC multiplier because it is over. Only current TC multiplier is 2x on Sundays this month. But if you look at the fine print at bottom, they specifically cap video poker TC to 2x. This fine print appears the same as was up for the 10x event. (Otherwise why limit VP TC to 2x during a 2x TC event if they don’t consider it different).

Poker excluded obv.

Poker excluded obv.

Also excluded are the better video poker machines that give 1 tier credit for $25 coin in.

Are they technically excluded or is the TC/$ just so bad it doesn't matter?

by Fore

The question referenced video poker.

Absolutely correct. I did not see that. In my defense this is a poker site and that question comes up here and elsewhere from time to time.

Explicitly excluded.

WSOP Circuit is coming back this August.

Caesars Entertainment announced Monday in a release provided to Casino.org that the WSOP Circuit (WSOP-C) will return this summer to Harrah’s Atlantic City, the place where the tour began. The WSOP-C event at Harrah’s Atlantic City will run from Thursday, August 14, through Monday, August 25.

We are thrilled to welcome back the prestigious World Series of Poker Circuit to Harrah’s Resort and the unmatched energy, excitement, and talent it brings,” said Gregg Klein, Harrah’s Atlantic City senior vice president and general manager. “Hosting this iconic event reinforces our commitment to delivering premier gaming experiences and positions us as a top destination for esteemed players and poker fans alike.”

Harrah’s, one of three casinos in Atlantic City’s Marina District with Borgata and Golden Nugget, was where Caesars debuted the WSOP Circuit in January 2025. The Circuit was designed as a build-up to the WSOP held in Las Vegas annually since 1970.

WSOP Atlantic City Return
The first-ever World Series of Poker Circuit stop was at Harrah’s Atlantic City. Canada’s Nghi Tran won the $9,500 +$500 No-Limit Hold’em Championship to claim the top prize of $780,615. Tran was the last player standing among 249 entries.

The WSOP returned to Harrah’s Atlantic City each year until March 2020 when schedule interruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic led to its cancellation. A little over five years later, the WSOP-Circuit Atlantic City stop is back.
“Over the past five years, the resort has renovated all hotel rooms and suites, ensuring guests enjoy modern, stylish accommodations. The resort is also home to vibrant nightlife at The Pool After Dark, a state-of-the-art spa, thrilling gaming promotions, and the most celebrity chef restaurants in Atlantic City, including Gordon Ramsay Steak, Bobby’s Burgers, Chicken Guy!, and Buddy’s Boardwalk Empire,” a release on the WSOP’s AC return said.

The 28-table poker room at Harrah’s Atlantic City operates a variety of poker games and tournaments seven days a week. The poker room is open 11 am to 6 am on Monday and Tuesday, 11 am to 4 am on Wednesday and Thursday, and 11 am on Friday until 6 am on Monday.

The 2025-26 WSOP Circuit will begin in late July following the conclusion of the 2025 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas at the Horseshoe and Paris. The full Circuit schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.

WSOP Ownership
Last August, Caesars Entertainment agreed to sell the WSOP to investment firm NSUS Group. The deal included $250 million in cash and a $250 million promissory note secured by NSUS pledging to sell WSOP’s intellectual assets.

Under the terms of the transaction, NSUS, which owns GGPoker and GGNetwork, agreed to allow Caesars to continue operating the WSOP Circuit and WSOP Las Vegas tournament. The deal additionally allows Caesars to continue using the WSOP brand for its casino poker rooms for the next 20 years.
The terms require that Caesars properties are given “preferential rights” to hosting WSOP-C events.

Lol.

That room does not seem big enough to hold an event like this, do they have a bigger space in harrahs for this series?

They have a large convention building with multiple ballrooms that can accommodate hundreds of tables.

WSOPC Event #7: $400 Big O

is it limit or pot limit?

Never seen that section before, good to know. Thanks

Was just looking over the schedule, have to think only one non-holdem event is a missed opportunity but what do I know *shrug*

Anyone played in the Circuit series at Harrah's? Just wondering how it's going. I'm planning on going down for Sunday and Monday's events. Would be nice if I could use my online account to enter and have it done before I get there, but I guess the software can't handle that kind of stuff yet (although it was great for the World Series).
