Meet your Toronto Tempo!

Pretty cool name.

inb4 they play the slowest pace ITL.

2025 draft, 1st round

1. Paige Bueckers - Dallas Wings (UConn)
2. Dominique Malonga - Seattle Storm (ASVEL FΓ©minin)
3. Sonia Citron - Washington Mystics (Notre Dame)
4. Kiki Iriafen - Washington Mystics (USC)
5. Justė Jocytė - Golden State Valkyries (ASVEL FΓ©minin)
6. Georgia Amoore - Washington Mystics (Kentucky)
7. Aneesah Morrow - Connecticut Sun (LSU)
8. Saniya Rivers - Connecticut Sun (NC State)
9. Sarah Ashlee Barker - Los Angeles Sparks (Alabama)
10. Ajsa Sivka - Chicago Sky (Tarbes Gespe Bigorre)
11. Hailey Van Lith - Chicago Sky (TCU)
12. Aziaha James - Dallas Wings (NC State)

i know nothing but i'll shoot my shot anyway saying that paige will be a relative bust, just based on how old she is. she's actually older than caitlin clark, and like 4 years older than lady wemby (dominique malonga)

yeah I don't care about the HYPE for Paige either.

I snap take lady wemby at #1 over her with zero regrets.

I was looking to see who Detroit drafted.

Was a solemn moment when it hit me that they don't exist anymore.

Paige is way too efficient and versatile to be a bust, and will be an immediate impact player, Malonga is super raw so multiple years out, better Cardoso basically but Cardoso isn't going to be much in year 2 either.

Seattle needed an immediate impact player but Citron is too meh so they just setup for the future and will slum in the 5-7 seed first round exit tier this year.

Based solely on video, Malonga seems much more more mobile that Cardoso.

If Bueckers stays healthy, I agree that her chances of being a bust are negligible for exactly the reasons you mentioned.

If the ROY debate is already starting, I will take Paige.

We have Collier 6:1 to MVP

Can we lock this thread already?

Time for a WNBA 2025 thread.
