This basically always depends on the villain, and how often they can trip barrel w bluffs.. Generally, people dont trip barrel bluff at nl2.. As played, its standard, you can never fold really unless you have some heavy reads
Gotcha, maybe this was just a cooler.
What are your thoughts on folding A6o in the BB be a 3x BTN raise?
I think the only point in this hand where you can fold is pre, depending on the villain. Overall pretty normal.
I would need a very strong read to fold this river. You pretty much got the best runout you could hope for with this hand. You hit your kicker for two pair and got a relatively dry runout. Your two pair is likely good most of the time. Villain will have plenty of AK and other Ax holdings in spots like this that will play it this way. In fact, I’d have given serious thought to a turn check raise here, targeting hands like AK, AJ, A2 and maybe some other Ax hands that will pay you off.
Folding A6o pre isn’t a bad play either. That’s more villain-dependent. If you’re looking to move up in stakes, though, getting used to defending with hands like this is probably a good idea. The GTO open range for the button is pretty wide, and A6o certainly is a hand that is ahead of much of that range. But if you have a villain on the button who doesn’t open wide enough, a fold pre might be better.
