LOL at missing that traveling call

I swear to God I've never seen heild do anything good or hit a shot every time I watch golden state. He sucks

That was a brutal run. GS may have lost the game letting them get that many points back, just awful offense and too many mistakes. Fully expect Houston to blow them out and Steph has to go into hero mode

when push comes to shove butler/curry probably win this series

but already bet hou -1.5 gm 2, GS got their game in houston

How the hell did this team win 52 games

We’ve seen this a couple of times last few seasons in the West from Memphis / Sacramento / Houston: you can go a long way in the regular season with qualities that won’t help you in a playoff series. Houston are big, athletic and deep and they’ve just crushed the regular season but they are getting no net rating bounce here as their rotation condenses.

They just had no consistent way of scoring in the half court last night. Green and Thompson just can’t score and GS can foul them in confidence. Structurally that was a very concerning loss for Houston. Series could be Warriors in 5.

Isn't it Canadian tradition to root against the Leafs though.

Always !

Yes and no. Houston can't shoot, but no team consistently shoots the ball as poorly as the Rockets did last night. And Houston won't consistently be -5 in turnovers against the Warriors. Draymond is going to be very worn down if this series goes 6 or 7 games.

On the plus side for the Warriors, this game is reminder No. 50,001 that there is no reliable defense against superstar offense in the NBA. The Rockets don't have anything close to an offensive superstar, and it's a glaring deficiency in the half court.

Hield started the season on a huge heater, and there was a lot of talk about how the Warriors were the perfect fit for him. But the truth is that he just isn't that great. He is a good shooter, but he can't finish for **** if you drive him off the three point line. And even from beyond the arc, he very much relies on clean looks. He doesn't make tough 3s.

being so affected by someone being close to you always seems weird to me. like bro just ignore him and shoot regular. meditate during offseason or something

by Rococo

Probably correct as well, although the Rockets are crushing the offensive glass in this game.

Well, there was a lot of opportunities for offensive boards!

No flexing. Houston will win Game 2.

Houston played terrible, Curry played great. It was a 3 point game with minutes left.

As expected Warriors were killed on the glass. Houston isn't a great matchup for the Warriors in that sense, and they can't play that bad on offense again.

pistons up 8 going into the 4th quarter. Seems so familiar...

Update: Pistons in 6.

Nico Harrison is a moron,

"I did know that Luka was important to the fan base," Harrison said Monday during his season-ending news conference, six days after a session with a smaller group of reporters that the club called to try to move on from the exhaustively discussed Doncic trade. "I didn't quite know it to what level."

Further confirmation:

Calling Nico a moron is highly offensive to morons everywhere.

Nico should take the no comment approach from here on out.

He’ll be fired by the end of the Mavs next season iyam.

He should be fired by the end of the business day tomorrow.

Playoff Jimmy v Playoff Kawhi in the Conference Finals is going to be lit. A rematch from the Heat/Raptors series in 2019.

Nico should have been content with ****ing up the Curry/Nike deal a decade ago. In terms of legacy, ****ing up a successful franchise is just piling on.

If you said it was 1-1 going back to LA I’d be pretty happy, but Nuggets have looked significantly better than I expected. Guess Malone was a cancer after all?

The rebounding is really concerning. Just getting murdered on O boards both games, and by Porter and Westy? wtf. Feel like that’s not something you can “adjust” for, and Den frontline does have a big size advantage.

Need Powell to wake up some.

No no no. Please keep talking. I can't wait till he septenvigintuples down on this trade.
