[Pokerbros] Discussion thread
At the request of KptBomba, I figured I would start a separate thread for people to discuss the new app Pokerbros as to
Any recommendations for good active clubs for 4c PLO for Aussies? Looking for around 50plo and want action/games running in our timezone.
Cheers
Main unions like Diamond and Paradise have those kind of games pretty much 24/7.
Stars and Stripes union has decent traffic as well.
There are also smaller private Turkish clubs, with much softer games, but traffic is lower there.
Besides these , Mexican union is also a suitable option for plo5 low stakes.
Its also happening in cash tables and it has been going on for a long time now. The unions (diamond and paradise) obviously know about it, the question should be if its an insider job and they are profiting from it OR if they simply dont care
Not sure how this effected tournaments....but here goes...i got a story.
I have been a winning player online for a long long time...however,
I started out on PokerBROS playing lower limit cash back in 2020 and absolutely crushed it for several years until about a year ago. Since then something has changed. I've usually not been in the online poker is rigged group, but man i don't know how to explain it.
Can you confirm there is something different in about that time frame? I went from biggish consistent winner over about 50-60k hands to break even if not slight loser. I've been telling myself maybe it's the influx of bots or maybe just people have improved that much over the last year?
Edit: started playing tournaments over the last couple years and that's where I really excelled. Dont play cash anymore.
Hello guys, could anyone recommend a reliable agent for a relaxed game on Pokerbros clubs (PLO50-100), preferably from the US?

Variance/not taking explo lines/not understanding ICM
The Bros "x" mtt's (the ones that are shared with multiple unions) seem to me to be as soft as ever. They are all high variance because of the structure and how the average opponent plays, but those average opponents all seem to still take the same types of lines with the same types of hands and make the same types of glaring errors as they did 1, 2, even 5 years ago.
Has anyone played on luckystars/Flying dutchman? pokerbros club
They are *******s who wont pay you or make it as difficult as possible to pay you.
Anytime i ever played there and won it was the craziest hassle to get paid, say you cashout 1k you are going to be put on a queue where you get paid in 20-50-100$ payments for the next few days. Anyway, through my agent he told me if I played, I didn't have to worry about that he would pay me instant etc. Turns out he never wanted to payout unless I bribed him with 50-100$ for a small $200-300 cash out.
My friend owed me money last week, so I had him deposit 50 for me through venmo it was fine. I play for a few days request to cash out through my agent through crypto. "Crypto only way i ever cashed out before" told him i would give him a $50 tip for my $450 instant cash out so I don't have to wait. After a back and forth he tells me no i simply have to wait through queue like everyone else. I go create a ticket and request my cashout through the club get told by some other manager and my agent I can only cash out through venmo since that's what i deposited. (my agent knows i don't have a personal venmo). They advertise depositing crypto as their deposit of choice now with bonuses if you use crypto, but I'm told they can't cashout crypto because its too much of a pain in the ass to cashout crypto and since I didn't deposit with it it's not possible. They start berating me and I told the manager he was a pussy. (I know that was a little extreme, oh well) then they ban me from the club and discord instantly lol.
I had the owner of the club added as a friend which they probably didn't expect, and I messaged him about what happened and then he had manager that banned me add me and say they would make me right and that we both got heated etc. Long story short we went back and forth more for a couple hours and I still couldn't get paid because it's too hard to pay crypto and only thing I could get was venmo which they know I didn't have. I think I even asked for zelle at one point which was a no go.
I ended up just playing the highest stake and dumping the money because I knew I wouldn't be able to cash out. Whatever it's more about the principle I knew they were shady. I once invited my friend, and he had to also pay my agent 100$ to cash out $300-400. After that my friend knew I got rakeback and asked me to ask my agent if he can get rakeback so i did, I was told "don't you ever message my players and let them know about rakeback" I guess he forgot that this was someone i actually knew. Never invited a single person after that. Also, this agent asked me numerous times do join his sports book and would brag about how much money he makes. I guess that really impresses the type of people they attract to play on there.
Anyway, I knew the risks and I should have noticed their player pool was nonexistent compared to what it used to be so that was probably part of the problem of getting paid, but I just wanted to others know about this club in case they play or happen to stumble upon them or hear if there have been other similar experiences. They can keep the 5 bucks for rb a week they give me for referring people over a year ago.

If you want a good agent, I can recomment Dustin aka whatwonder from this forum. He is around a long, long time. I have cashed money in and out a few times with him, and never had any issues. I'd say everyone is pretty satisfied with his services.
Now when it comes to PokerBros as an app the opinions vary.
Me privately as a longterm online winning player, I do think all online poker is rigged, by the operators no exception. Apps or sites.
I only play because I'm still making profit. On the Bros app though, I barely made any. It was more like playing a video game. Killing time, and pokerwise running
extremly bad in Spins + NLH, PLO5, and doing ok in SNGs and MTTs.

Same here.
Spins have been a nightmare this time I cashed in. And I am a former Spin Legends Gold member. I ran a -30% ROI on around 200 Spins I believe.
They hit everything. Like every fk.n thing ^^. I lost like 20 flips in a row etc. I stopped counting at some point.
NLH 6 max, and PLO 5c also pretty dry.
I made a little profit this time, but just because of rakeback.
I had a deposit upswing, (300$ to 1.200 $) followed by a massive down to zero.
Then getting 300$ rakeback and going up to 1.100 again, and then the downswing kicked in again.
I cashed out, because it doesn't seem to make sense to me.
I noticed a few things this time:
1. There are people sitting alone at the 6 max tables, and after a few hands they immediately quit me.
Now I consider me a headsup specialist, but
2. Some of them also quitted me the second I sat down, even though I never played them before.
3. Sometimes someone played me, and as soon as another player enters, the first one immediately leaves.
That happened pretty often, so that there is a pattern. I believe these are somehow house players.
4. Also I had a few situations were people played like they could either see my cards or know what will hit on the river.
It sounds crazy but there was a hand that completely left me with my mouth wide open.
It went down like this (not exactly but I will get the idea across)
I raise AKo, AJo, or AQo or 77, 66, 88 (something in that ballpark) from the SB and dude calls with like 94o
Flop is paired like 22J or 22T
He had zero backdoor draws.
I bet
He raises
I call
I bet again now on the turn, either because I had the pair, or I got a backdoor draw, and now he CALLS!!! (WTF???)
Calling with 94o no showdown value, but 6 outs, that might be dead.
He somehow won on the river hitting a 4 or 9
I don't know exactly what I had, but he won.
He had zero showdown value and just hit a card on a river that he should have never seen.
Either the 9 when I had 66, 77, or 88 or he hit his 4 and I was on an Ax
It was super weird.
A ton of bots showed up today at Pokerbros micro PLO. How do I get in contact with someone about it?
Do pokerbros even care about bots?
Is there any reputable plo6 micro stake running/club?

Haha yea i know what you mean. Bros is just a shady social poker app, you cant really expect the RNG to be fair lol
Another thing, is there a windows desktop app? When i try to play it from LDplayer tables show the PC don't allow icon, is there anyway to play them from PC?
I'm looking to become an Agent for App Games, I'd really like some help on a few things.
- Some places are modifying the chip count e.g. 0.9 or 0.85
Apparently if you deposit e.g. $100 you get e.g. 111.1usd on a 0.9.
I've heard this is an ecology / tax thing. However I dont really get it, they're just play for 10% less money so its just reducing the stake?
- Is it possible to make my own club and join a union? Does anyone know how I do this and get in touch with the unions?
If anyone can help me out that would be amazing!

That's a rebate. It's used to move money from winners to losers to help the club's economy. If you play in a club with a 10% rebate, for example, and you win 1k, you only get $900 of it. If you lose 1k, you get $100 returned to you.

Lolz never got anything returned when lost and this system was used.
looking for a club in a union that has a decent bit of 20NL-50NL constantly running... rakeback?
so trying to find out is BlueStacks probably my best bet, or is there something better that takes less resources? What about LDS? I'd just be using it for PokerBros and those type apps. Is there anyway to get around the emulator prohibited tables? My computer is a little older, but shouldn't have any issues:
CPU: Intel i5-10600KF with ARGB Cooler
GPU: ZotacGaming GeForce GTX 1660
32GB DDR4
PC is ok . Try LD Player or Nox.
For the emulator prohibited tables there is a trick using DriveHUD and Android phone.
Seems like bros is dying…
No more guarantees and cash games not running at some stakes.
Have people moved to ClubGG or somewhere else ?
Seemed like bros has more traffic than ClubGG but the trend is down.
