I mean its wild how the punditry just isn't even talking about this at all going to be very annoying when one of them ships europa league to back door CL next year.

Probably because that was only the table for the 6 minutes West Ham were ahead.

Task manager close it down without saving and restart it

Congrats Plop

Congratulations Liverpool fans, well deserved

Third time 2nd. This was the most painless tho. Im sure City will be big time back when we get to 95points back on the board again.

Anyways UCL or bust hype

Congrats to the team that is not City. Any year its not City is a decent year.

Best team won for sure. Think Liverpool/Arsenal/City all need new players quite badly in the summer, very hard to predict next year compared to 5 years ago when you could say for certainty who was gonna be the top two.

Richarlison on the pitch when Liverpool won the league was incredible to see.

Real shame Klopp didn't have a day like that when he won, but very classy of Slot to return the song. That's a man who's secure in his own abilities. FSG take so much stick but they've always got the big appointments right.

Hard agree.

The transition and modern squad building was and is top at Pool even when fans criticised owners for "not spending". I always found that kind of idiotic, but understand that next to City that might feel like a failure as well as a lack of investment and ambition.

They bought fantastic, strong players for what seemed crazy money at the time and if it wasn't for City's endless budget cheatcode they would no doubt have more titles.

We emulated that squad building that is why you have Arsenal as one of 3 title favorites and not fighting it out against United in the bottom 6. We'll address the frontline situation I'm sure. It showed how big a dropoff there is when Saka was out - so far that has been only a hypothetical scenario.

However, I expect both City and Pool to come back a lot stronger next season. Pool hasn't been great in the 2nd half of the season which was nicely masked by every other team being worse.

Somehow found myself in London at the same time

Arsenal plays PSG at home. Just had a look at the tickets prices and my wallet is going to have to pass, jesus

What is the going rate? Β£400-500?

Commentator last night: “Can you remember any team in recent years who have dominated this league like Leeds have this season?”

Yes, they've dominated it so hard that they still haven't won the title going into the final game of the season.

Probably the same sort of commentator that would be wanking furiously over Wrexham's promotion and ignoring Birmingham way off in the distance

Ridiculous thing to say after we were 10 points clear last time we came up, having had promotion all but wrapped up before Covid hit.

I'd say there's been a more dominant season a bit more recently than that.

late to answer and did not look thoroughly for best available price but 2nd hand tickets were starting as of 750Β£ when I searched

Charlie Austin scoring a last minute of extra time for Totton in their step 3 playoff semi (after being 2-0 down on 88 minutes and 3-2 up on 90+15) is a good enough excuse to repost the finest use of YouTube ever

devastating loss for forest today, not much remaining room for error if they want cl football. would suck if after all this they miss out on that for these mediocre mega money clubs

3. Newcastle 62 points
4. Manchester City 61

Yeah, forest do have the better fixtures but is there a better time for chelsea to play pool this season than sunday?

forest v chelsea last game of the season could be massive.

Forrest have finally stopped scoring every chance they get, back to reality

Yeah would suck re the narrative etc but to be fair Forest have been really meh this season and are running hotter than the sun

What an odd take

What an odd take

What is? They've taken a huge % of their chances and their opponents have taken a small % of theirs. Chris Wood is not suddenly prime Shearer.

If you just look at the results then sure they've been amazing.

Chris Wood has scored double figures in the PL in six different seasons. Whilst he might not be prime Shearer, he is a good PL centre forward with a record that many would envy.

Yes agreed, and this season is an outlier. Like Notts Forest results if they were to play how they have 10000 times....

i think we're all on the same page here. forest getting t4 would be cool and fun and stuff, but they have run insanely good this season and thus haven't really "deserved" it. expected table:

liverpool 76 points
arsenal 67
bournemouth 59
man city 59

chelsea 56
aston villa 56
newcastle 55
fulham 54
brighton 52
crystal palace 50
tottenham 48
man united 47
brentford 46
nottingham forest 44
everton 41
wolves 39
west ham 37

ipswich 23
leicester 22
southampton 21

bournemouth are like the anti-forest this year, running insanely bad. whats going on there
