1/3 river xjam for about 120bb, too thin?
I think the river is player dependent if you think worse will call off...but anyways....
5 limps to me in bb with 9c8s, i x
flop $19
89Tr
i lead out for $10 (is this bad?), fold, fold, call, fold, call
turn $49
8h 9s Td 8c
xx, bu bets $40, i call, fold
river $129
8h 9s Td 8c 6c
x, bu bets $130 (had about 375 left)
No combo of T8s possible, only hand that beats me is T8o and villlain could limp with this. Could have 1 combo of 86s, tho i dont think that bets turn. Has all combos of QJo. Never has 99, TT. Could have 7J, AND 76, but i dont think they go pot on the river.

You create extra work and confusion for the reader when you don't give reads or stack sizes.
sorry - bu has about 560 to start hand, i cover
I would not lead this flop, probably x/call or x/fold depending on sizing.
Not sure why you x turn, you block all boats, i would just bet/bet
As played, i think i rip it, our hand is too underepped. Hard to say without player description but for 375 more i would just rip vs unknown, its 1/3 live after all, players call with a 7 here sometime lol
id only leas if villains are passive and wont raise with a frequency that outs you in a tough spot holding bottom two.
on river i think you can get called by worse for sure. any set raises your bet on flop and any other combo gets it in on turn so put money in and hope theyre the fun olayer types
The player dependent part here is how much of Villain’s range is bigger boats. Not just T8o, but TT and 99 are possible if this guy is passive enough preflop.
But this looks a lot like a straight that is better than a naked 7. So I think I shove here.
ah shit - i realized i thought this was a 2/5 hand and so gave a slightly different sense of villain's average actions.
so while i think most villains still raise sets on the board here, Id say they do it less than they should and so its not impossible to see a set here but this begs the question about preflop action - would any of the attendees have raised 99 or TT or limped with some markedly out of the norm frequency say
Is a river xjam for 120bb to thin? I don’t think so. Sounds like the right play.
I prefer check/call into a 6way flop. Otherwise I think check/jam is good OTR, if he has T8 too bad, but I can definitely see worse calling at 1/3.
I'm fine with preflop.
I don't mind a smallish bet/bet/bet line on non-bad runouts and evaluate (likely fold) if raised, so I'm cool with a flop donk.
I'd keep betting on the turn, not sure why we didn't?
I don't get to the river like this. Not sure why we're ruling out a bunch of bigger boat combos (or are we simply that sure this guy ain't capable of overlipling TT/etc. on the Button after a world of limps?). We're facing a monster bet. What's our image? Is he capable? The more FOS image we have and the less capable he is, a raise prolly ain't horrible. The more nitty an image we have and the more capable he is, the more I just call (and it might even be a sigh one at that).

x-jam seems best as played
if Hero decides to x-call should be based on sizing read (villain going for very greedy sizing)
