trial period ended, now what?
Hi, I've using hand2note for almost a year now, always for free (maybe because I play NL2). But after migrating from v4.0 to v4.1 I had this banner saying that it was a trial version, and today It expired... now I can't even open the software to see my stats. Is paying the only way no? Is this because of version 4.1? Is any older version I can keep using for free?

Upon launching Hand2Note 4.1, a 14-day trial is available, which provides full access to all implemented features. After the trial period ends, you will have to purchase the PRO subscription to continue using the program:
Annual cost: $588
Monthly cost: $61.25

A free Hand2Note Lite version is expected, but the release date has not been determined, and there is no information available yet regarding which features will be included.
I was playing for a living years ago, still create content for HM, PT4 and H2N. I was actually quite surprised from the change of payment-policy. Here some points:
- not everyone plays on Android-clients, asking someone to pay for something he won't use? Some people will not.
- pricing-to-feature-ratio: years ago your soft was the only one allowing dynamic positional/situational stats. You still offer that....but most major sites banned this feature. You don't have a selling point here anymore. Still remains your population-analysis, which was great in H2N-3, but for my taste you ****ed it up in H2N-4. HM asks for HM+NC all stakes 139$, you round about 600 bucks per year. How do you justify 400% more? You also ****ed up H2N-4 for content-creators......1 Win-window for doing a job?! I had on 1 screen the HUD/pop-up i needed to do, on the other screen the stats/expression-stats-editor....gone! Will I continue to pay for your soft, seriously reconsidering!
- politics: your f-off-offer to give players for 6 months discount for micro-stakes, some will take, every rational person will move on to another solution. You seem to underestimate the amount of players from poorer countries grinding for a living on penny-stakes or casual players. Can they afford you? No. Will they start to use you when they move up or start to go pro? Questionable! My experience, people stick to what they are used to. Players don't want to bother learning to use a new soft.
All in all, not happy with all your changes.....but who I'm to judge 🙄

the problem is not the price(which i agree is quite expensive), the problem is it doesnt work correctly. Crashes, problem with database and hands, HUD...
Tried to set up with pokerbros and doesnt work well
Tried to set up with ipoker and some HUDS appear empty even after creating 2 new databases
Who is gonna pay (any price) for a software that works so bad and has so many problems?

Currently, Hand2Note 3 ASIA and EDGE are no longer available for new purchases—they have been retired, and only the PRO plan remains purchasable. The PRO subscription is priced the same as Hand2Note 4, so there isn’t a cost advantage to trying to buy an older version.
We recommend upgrading to the PRO plan to get full support, ongoing updates, and compatibility with all our latest features.
We realize pricing flexibility is important, so we’re actively exploring more affordable tiers for casual and recreational users—but we don’t have launch dates or details to share just yet. As soon as new plans become available, we’ll announce them on our official channels.
