So many posts in this thread and nobody comes up with the most obvious guess (ie, Erick was staked for the Satellite by Daniel Negreanu and they both made a killing)?

I mean, it don't know him personally so I'm not going to speculate on his financial situation. Bottom line to me is: staked or not, it's not easy to go into that game if that's not your usual stakes and the money means a lot to you. As someone mentioned, if he basically just took his time each decision and folded out (barring the most obvious hands he has to play) he'd walk away with 750k or whatever.

I imagine that's quite a bit to him if he's playing in a 10/10 big bet game. However, that might also be his beer game as I saw he was drinking too. And he goes to Vegas to play in a 100/200 mix or something.

Having been up and down financially in my life Im happy for the dude if he got himself out of a hole or was able to just stack a few hundred k

He went bankrupt so doesn’t that mean it’s zero?Although there’s at least one “small fry” that he owes that probably wasn’t listed. The guy owed a few thousand (?) from the sports fantasy leagueI don’t put EL and CR in same boat although they are often discussed together. EL had a gambling problem, his source of income disappeared overnight, and wasn’t running scams. CR seemed

No there are debts that going bankrupt does not erase.

As if declaring bankruptcy somehow clears gambling debts 😃

Theres a decent chance Dnegs took a piece of Eric and theres a bigger chance that Eric never paid anyone back.

Lmao thanks 2+2 genuises, only best and brightest here, but obviously bankruptcy did clear him of substantial obligations that could enforced legally otherwise he wouldn’t have done it. Posted article detailed around 10M

But I’m sure there’s other stuff, where I gave one example of when EL welched on that sports fantasy pool whatever it was. But unless it’s substantial and someone was looking to do something about it, not sure he’s losing sleep over it.

You are the person who thought it might remove all debts as you suggested because he went bankrupt the debt could be zero. I merely pointed out you were factually wrong without insulting you for your ignorance. Since you saw fit to insult me by creating a strawman that I claimed it did not remove some debts I treat offensive liars with the respect they deserve. Sorry you are so ignorant and obnoxious.

No there are debts that going bankrupt does not erase.

There are multiple kinds of debt not discharged in personal BK.

One example are most student loans.

Lol just playing don’t get so uppity

But truthfully if bankruptcy got rid of everything meaningful and he was only left with stuff like “E Dogg owes me 3K from fantasy!” then yes it is zero. Even if he owed a hundred people like that.

If you know of anything substantial left then the floor is yours, Senator. But there could be.

But I had zero as a question to a good poster, Wilbury Twist.

Next month Garrett is going to release the evidence. Just consulting with the legal team. Now that there's a Suits LA, they've been tied up.

What happened to that guy on here who claimed that he and others had a whole team of analysts in a discord server and that they would drop a massive amount of evidence in the form of video analysis any day?

Like Max Cohen in the movie Pi, he went crazy after seeing how j4 was yet another example of Fibonaccis sequence that basically ties the universe together. Such truths are too much for mortal minds to comprehend.

Too many people ITT are relying on the courts to tell them what is morally just.

Your word means something as a man...until it doesn't.

Bankruptcy is a used to get out of corporate or governmental obligations, an undoing of the process used to kick off said corporate or governmental obligations in the first place.

Gambling obligations are different. There are reputable gamblers Edog still owes money to. He should not be playing buyins of any amount before making full restitutions or at the bare minimum creating a payment schedule to handle previous debts.

TLDR: He didn't run a business that went bust due to supply chain issues or cash flow inconsistencies, he simply bet with money he didnt have that wasn't his, in an attempt to freeroll (read 'steal from') his peers.

List out the gambling obligations not covered by bankruptcy that he owes, that was actually the question asked. You aren’t telling anyone something that they didn’t already know.

But should he need/desire to pay out gambling obligations then playing poker is probably the most likely path to doing it.

WTF does the term "as a man" mean? Do you wear tight trousers and shiny shoes? Are you Mike Dentale?

Pretty sure it means like as a stand up person that can be depended on to keep their word regardless of shifting or changing circumstances. I don’t think it’s necessarily about the sex of the person. Why did that jump out at you?
