Flopped Set OTB in large multiway Pot facing bet & call
So game is loose live 9-handed 1/2 late at night (i.g bigger Stacks, more gamble)
My image is that i pretty much crush this game (sometimes true 😉
Important Players/Stacks
SB (V1): ~ 500.-
UTG+2 (V2): ~ 700.-
BTN (Hero): covers
Reads:
V1 & V2:
Both rel. Young & on the LAG side , Preflop Standarts clearly missing, Overvalueing TPNK ,..
Capable of Bluffing
Both might be break-even / small winning players in this particular game (due to lack of aggression from most of the other players)
I rate them as fish.
HH:
Everybody limps ,
BB makes it 30.-
6 callers
Flop: J 8 2 Rainbow (180.- Pot)
V1 bets 95.-
V2 calls
Hero??
We are on the BTN with 22
Considerations
V1 Range is toppair / 2 pair heavy
V2 = V1 Range + T9 type of sh..
Higher sets are very unlikely due to the
limping pre (both would raise 88 & JJ 99% of time)
Pot (~370 ) is huge compaired to the remaining stacks
My Question:
Makes slowplaying here any sense ?
Do you raise? How much?

On such a disconnected and dry board AND you're in position AND he bet half-pot, I think it could go either way. If you flat it, there's a great chance he takes an even bigger shot with his second barrel and keeps betting into you. If you rereaise him 2X when he bets $95, it doesn't sound like you would lose him so that's legit as well. If the board had some obvious draws, then I wouldn't take the chance and definitely not slow play it.
I would flat on this board. Qt97 make a possible straight. Board pairing is sort of good, but then j8 beats you. I think we can afford to see another card in position.
If we flat and Turn is checked to us :
- whats our action? (V1 has potsize left,
V2 about 1.5x pot)
If turn
(A) comes a blank
(B) is Q T 9 7
(C) J / 8
You also have to consider if a 2 flush hits. I would be smaller on the turn if the board paired.
Can easily shove the turn over miat bets
