All underdogs. This could be the best 2nd rd ever. So awesome.

I want Pacers vs Knicks like it's 1995!!!

Rococo, I respect what you're saying but I wasn't clear I think. It wasn't the offensive rebounds, Houston is just a lot bigger than GS so it's not surprising. However, it seemed like a lot of drives to the goal, Shengun (sp?) Trying to post, or specifically 50/50 balls GSW was just able to push them around. I saw a lot of complaints about no calls on fouls on Houstons side t

I agree that GS outworked Houston. And I agree that Draymond was able to force Sengun to shoot from 2-3 feet further out than he wants to shoot it. Draymond was good at the latter for most of the series.

You might be right about the officiating in game 7.

DK has 130/+110 in favor of wolves

sounds like median expectation is curry missses 2-3 and maybe like 50% to miss gm 4

I don't think the median expectation is worth much one way or the other until he gets an MRI. FWIW, it didn't look terrible on the floor. But he he did go straight to the locker room.

The risk of reinjury with hamstrings is so high that I can't imagine that the Warriors will even consider playing him until they lose a game. But that doesn't mean he will play in game 3 if the Warriors lose game 2 (which they almost certainly will).

No matter how he feels, Curry is going to feel an enormous amount of pressure to play game 4 if the Warriors lose games 2 and 3.

TEAM

OF

DESTINY

Since 1998, Teams down 7+ with 1 minute left:

All other games: 1-1641

Pacers this week: 2-0

That's probably sustainable I'd say

Imagine what they'll do when they aren't down 7+ with a minute left

Lose?

Grade 1 strain for Curry. Expected to be out "at least a week."

Haliburton is like McLovin in Superbad, stealing the show!!!

TWolves now have better odds to win the series than they did before game 1, which sounds correct. Before game 1, if you had offered Warriors' fans a guaranteed Game 1 win plus a grade 1 hamstring strain for Curry, most would have correctly rejected the offer.

Losing Curry is always a disaster for the Warriors, but especially so against the TWolves. Twolves are a great matchup for Curry and a decent/bad matchup for Butler.

Wolves should obviously handle them every game Curry sits but there are some instances recently where a superstar missed and the team overperformed in a short sample. Philly won gm 1 @ Boston without Embiid a few years ago, LAC won 2 straight vs Utah after Kawhi tore his ACL, Dallas won 2/3 w/o Luka to start their series with Utah in 2022, GS wasn't expected to beat the Rockets in 2019 after KD injury, more injuries in the playoffs now so more examples but teams can play way above their heads over small samples, rally around situation, throw new wrinkles at other team, the #2 turns into the #1 etc

Obviously you can always say "but each of those times had XYZ and this doesn't....." but each of those times people said that as well

That being said I'd assume unless the Wolves keep shooting 13% from 3, they should handle them but that game 3 in GS on Saturday could be frisky

Rough for GSW but this would be so much worse had they not acquired Butler in the meantime, think they won't be as terrible as predicted

Sure. It's entirely possible that GS wins one of the next three games. It's still the NBA. If Buddy or Podz has a 25+ pt game, or if Minnesota has another horrific shooting, GS probably will win that game.

I didn't like how Jimmy looked as a scorer in game 1. Minnesota was able to funnel Jimmy into Gobert and Gobert's length really caused Jimmy to bail on a lot of shot attempts. That's my main concern.

Sadly no. OKC in 2014 I think

I thought Tatum cried a lot, KAT cries every time he misses a shot lol

Airball a FT hahaha

The Celtics are a joke.

Netflix dropped a doc on the Gilbert / Crintenton (sp?) last night and it was ok.

Basically both people are top tier morons, especially Gil.

Gil is an escalator!
