who we like here? other than sunderland and notts county

Sunderland are going into play-offs with no momentum whatsoever, lost their last 5 games so I fancy Coventry

I'll go with

Bristol City v Coventry final, Coventry to win (sorry 64 😊)
Stockport v Charlton, Stockport to win
Chesterfield v Notts County, Chesterfield to win

Worst header of the season from Darwin

Congrats to Kane. The curse is broken. England might win whatever is next

Now that Kane got his silverware, who does he come back to after his contact is up next summer? And…….does he play long enough to break Shearer’s goals record?

I hear Arsenal is looking for a striker πŸ˜ƒ

city have haaland
arse and chelsea are kinda out, no?
doesn't really seem like a liverpool move
would he go to newcastle? would they want him?

if he can't just go back to spurs, i guess united makes the most sense?

bayern or real madrid if he's still at this level. united if he's past it

Cue him holding an Arsenal shirt pic as a kidπŸ˜ƒ

It worked out pretty well for Sol Campbell tbf (though he was A LOT younger when he made the switch)

I don’t see United happening with INEOS running the show now. Arsenal, I doubt. But, would Chelsea really drive up the rage hate from Spurs fans? (I honestly don’t know the answer to that in all honesty)

I was wondering with Newcastle as well. Isak is there, and Kane would require starting minutes that Isak wouldn’t give up. Unless Newcastle want to cash in on Isak (which is also possible).

I feel like coming back to the prem on a free is well in the cards because he’s within touching distance of Shearer’s record. He’s scored 60 in the Bundesliga already and could well have broken the record this year or early next season if he had stayed in England.

His contract runs to 2027, who knows WTF will be happening them and he will be 34 then.

He is 47 behind Shearer's record so even if at his best he needs another 2 full seasons of scoring to even have a hope. Don't see it, given he will likely have declined too.

For some reason I thought he signed on a 3 year contract with Munich. A 4-year deal makes things quite different, though not impossible next summer depending on where other teams are at.

Pretty hilarious that

1) Ref can't see the pen on the pitch?!

2) VAR has to send the ref to look at it rather than call the pen straight away

Crazy how many refs & linesmen rely on VAR to be bailed out - I'd be embarassed to watch this replay and see what I missed

This is brilliant. In 2016-17 Spurs finished with 86 points which would have won the title in about 10 different seasons, therefore we have ten prem trophies.

(Yes I know there is nuance / context in the entire spiel he gave, bore off)

Arteta is obviously on the defensive thus making the worst of points. I assume he knows that Liverpool won the league with 82 points after 34 matches and those teo Arsenal years he is so proud of they had 79 at most after that many matches. Even under his ridiculous standard his conclusion is incorrect.

More from Farteta:

"I am very proud of the players, 100% I don't think there's been a better team [than Arsenal] in the competition from what I have seen.

Just put the striker in the bag bro

No need, you are already the best team in Europe according to the manager.

lol

Well opinions differ. Like the fact that West Ham has more European titles.

I'm more worried about him talking about the injuries. Like it wasnt obvious in the winter that we need bodies and we did nothing. Sterling was our loan depth signing.

I have trust in the new recruiter guy so let's see. But I think Lego Pep's time is directly linked to winning trophies and he has one or potentially two more seasons to do it.

It would be interesting to see how last night had panned out if you had whatever forward it is you are going to sign this summer.

Yeah, that Sterling signing hasn't worked out well, apart from for Raheem, who got to stay in London and be with his family whilst getting paid a wedge.

Robinson instead of Holding, Brewster and Moore start ahead of O'Hare. Rak-Sakyi not even in the squad. Words fail me.

What a strike of the crossbar from Bristol

Campbell has to do better, decent chance that

Blades pen and red for Bristol
