Obtaining an ITIN as a Brit going to play poker in Vegas this summer
Does anyone have any information or contacts on how to get an ITIN through an agent or something similar? Does anyone have any experience with this? Have tried Googling but can't see any way of doing this easily so would rather just pay someone to do it for me if it can be done quickly. Cashed for $28k a couple of summers ago and didn't cash it in but would really like to be able to get that cash now. Getting to Vegas in 4 weeks so time is of the essence. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Did you cash some of it in? Or leave the whole lot on deposit? Or just the taxed amount that was held.
It used to be, that wsop and the rio used to help with itin numbers, some casino still do, some don't.
It does seem a headache for most UK tournament pros the first time, but once sorted, it's the same. Just seems to be luck of the draw if you get a casino that will help you out at the time of win.

WSOP helps with ITINs but pretty sure it’s only for recent cashes. I am not entirely sure if you can request one for a cash from a couple years ago.
You can request an ITIN yourself online and it takes between 1 and 3 months for it to be completed (mine took 3 months when the casino applied for it).
If you are going to Vegas and planning on playing WSOP tourneys and you cash then they will just apply for you and you can use that for the old cash too.
No I didn't cash in any of it, just left it there. I don't think the WSOP do it anymore (or I wasn't offered that anyway).
