$500 Colossus 2025 WSOP Event#19
There is so much talk about WSOP attendance will go down this year due to recession, foreign players are afraid of US immigration policy etc.
I think Colossus is one of the event, which can do better than previous years because of many reasons.
The price point : The $500 buy-ins is recession proof because it’s one of low buy-in with great WSOP name.
It’s always a big draw for thousands of budget players and First Timer,who are dreaming about participating in WSOP.
Not many foreigners comes to WSOP only because of Colossus . Yes they will play if they are here. So fear of US immigration doesn’t affect much to colossus.
Until 2023 Colossus always had 2 starting day 1 flights.
In 2024 they added 1 more flights ( Total 3 starting Day 1 Flights).
It showed big jump in attendance of Colossus.
Year…. # of Day 1’s…. Attendance .
2023…… 2……….. 15894.
2024…… 3………… 19303.
2025….. 4………… ?
For 2025 , again they have added 1 more flight. Now it has 4 starting Day 1 flights.
My guess is Colossus should cross 20,000 in attendance!

Last year’s Colossus attendance came little short
!!
It was 16, 301 entries.
This year I think attraction would be Mini Mystery Million with $550 buy-in.
I think Mini Mystery Million has potential of record breaking attendance ( over 28371 runners 2019’s “Big 50” )
