New fast food discussion/review thread
OK OOT, it's been a while since we had a devoted fast food thread around here and I think it's time we had a new one.

Pretty insane deal. I flubbed up last night and got a double cheeseburger instead of the new McCrispy Strips because I forgot they were a thing until I pulled in the drive thru after already submitting my mobile order…anyone tried them yet?

I had a free sample the last time I was at McD's (an employee was walking around passing them out) and it was pretty good. It helped that it was as fresh as possible.
Was near a Taco Bell this noontime, so I decided to craft an app order after doing my shopping. No deals or rewards worth executing, so I freeballed it. Usually I end up with a $10 chicken quesadilla, instead I stuck to the value menu. 1 cheesy bean and rice burro, ez rice, add red sauce and 1 Classic Stacker. I was going to add chips and cheese sauce (LOL $2.99), instead got a side of cheese sauce ($.70) for my home chips. Round up for charity because Imma sucker, out the door for $6. Scored a free Pepsi that was a "mistake", might have been hit on by the drive-thru worker. May go back...
Burro was outstanding! This will be my new 'goto'. Stacker could use a dose of red sauce and probably would have been better fresher. I did wait a bit before consuming, and it definitely got more disappointing as time passed...
Another successful visit to in and out...
1 gilled cheese sandwich with raw onions and grilled bun
1 double double, mustard fried no pickles, with Grilled onions.

dude, a few days ago clues were shared about monumental taco bell value menu exploits
has anyone else fussed around with customising the $2 tb double stacked taco?
drop the crunchy strips and add the things you like
was in woodburn oregon last weekend and not charged for swapping doublestack beef for poultry
although that particular franchise also includes fifty cents more on top of everything else

I got a quesadilla yesterday, and made the mistake of looking at the receipt. Holy crap, it was almost 7 bucks. They didn't even cut it right - it was in two pieces.
I thot i-n-o only did burgers. Is the grilled cheese really on a bun, or like French toast bread the way Sonic does?
The grilled cheese is basically the regular hamburger without the meat... extra slice of cheese, With lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onions and the sauce its frigging delicious.

I just watched a youtube ff reviewer take on Subway's $5 foot long Doritos nachos. What a concept, nachos by length. They looked pretty bad tbh but he seemed to like them. This was casualgamerreed, quite obscure but I've been watching his reviews off and on for over 10 years now. He barely gets 2 or 300 views per video if that; I guess he just likes it.

I was visiting CA last week and ofc made a point to hit InO while there. A friend who grew up there told me their fries are much better animal style, so I gave those a try. The 2 pieces of melted cheese, grilled onions and sauce all tasted very good, but the unpleasantly dry fries underneath were not adding anything to the experience. I think a grilled cheese may be the perfect fries replacement, get the animal style tastes w a superior grilled bun subbed for the fries. I need to store this away for next time.
Also my first time adding chopped peppers to the animal style burger - just fantastic. In the running for the best fast food burger I've ever had.
LOL The Habit...
They announce today that everything is 30% off in the app. Hours later... Oops sorry, we meant this Tuesday.
Nevertheless, Raising Canes was yummy today.
