Coefficient isn’t about league places, it’s about European performance. So, no, United and Spurs won’t tank the coefficient. If anything, they’ll improve it as both teams reached the final.

England’s coefficient is so far ahead of the rest of Europe that basically all clubs would have to have an unmitigated disaster next season in Europe for England to even fall to second after the season.
