[WSOP.com Nevada] Unofficial thread
Since WSOP locked their thread, why can't we have our own?
Itβs not an issue from any other player so no, not going to sit out just cuz this guy is scummy.
The WSOP hand replayer is just dumb and shows extra seats. Itβs 6max.
That makes sense. Its gross, i agree.
I run into the exact same issue.... and feel the exact same way... and obviously support is of zero help... so just try to come up with ways to protect from the same situation.
Thanks for clarifying about the replayer.... that also makes sense. I'm just running into these issues with them changing the structure of a lot of the tables since the update... and wasn't sure if there was something additional i was missing.
Do you guys see a boost in cash games? I see a few new screen names. Not many more players considering the population of Pennsylvania is 13 million.
There definitely are new screen names, and we need to give it time. The announcement for most came out of nowhere but does give people plenty of time before the world series to have players deposit, as well as players that want access to the Nevada player pool.
I can't speak to cash games but the MTTs have been popping off since PA joined us, Guarantees being smashed in the good daily tournaments by like 2x where before they were struggling to hit and in some cases leading to the lowering of guarantees. (which have already been raised back up in most cases, and I assume will be raised even higher if this keeps up)
Is there any discord that some of you cash game regulars hang out in? It'd be cool to chat with some of the people that are battling the same stakes... I mostly play 100nl - 500nl
Has anyone figured out the rakeback structure yet?
In pennsylvania, its been pretty much nothing (Maybe like 2-3 percent?).
Is this universal across every state now? Or is it different depending on where you are playing from?

I rarely play on WSOP due to their rakeback structure. I'm not a fan that my level resets to the bare minimum every month.
it takes like 2 days to get to the top tier
There's a spreadsheet someone put together when the new rakeback launched. If you're a grinder its actually one of the best out there. I'll see if I can find it.
Edit: Here it is

Once you hit level 84 which doesn't take long, you're earning 40% RB for the rest of the month. (if this is still accurate which afaik it is)

How is this true? I redeem caesers rewards for cash at end of month and it ends up being like 100 bucks.
What am i missing?
I play a lot of volume.
You get that thru the caesers rewards on the redeem section?
Hm wonder why mine is so little or if itβs different for us in PA
Yes I learned yesterday after posting the spreadsheet, PA is much different, you get flat 5% thats it. Someone asked customer support why its different, and they gave a vague non answer about "regulators and market conditions", but yeah PA is getting screwed on rakeback @ WSOP right now.

Damn that sucks, was wondering why traffic seemed so high with all non-pa players after the merger compared to original pa server, because they're all getting solidrakeback! lol

Ok now it makes sense.
Pennsylvania gambling is taxed at a much higher rate - 48% I believe. So I guess that is their excuse for no rakeback in PA. Most likely what they were implying with that response.

Based on some chatter I saw on a discord yesterday I believe they may have actually reverted this and PA now has the same RB as everyone else. Don't quote me on that my research was not thorough.

It appears to be updated, hallelujah and back paid the rakeback since merger.
If only they could back pay the rakeback all time π
Redeemed about $300 worth just now.
