My strange creation beat me 3:2 in HU match!

My strange creation beat me 3:2 in HU match!

The guy's name is "K-INVISIBLE" and I'm not sure if you can call him a bot, but he obviously knows how to play poker. You can play heads up against him, or if you want you can even play a full table (you + 8 bot players). This odd bot is definitely a strange creation, because 52 cards deck is all you need to have to play with him. Plus of course, good and honest intentions that will lead to a fair game.

I played a 5 phase (5 games) HU match with K-INVISIBLE to see who's better. 3 of the games I played quite fast and aggressive, and 2 games I played quite cautiously and tight, so these two took some more time to finish. I think we played about 50 hands total. It's not much, but when you have to memorize stacks, pots and bets, it's quite a lot. The starting stacks for each game were 100BB. Of course we played NLHE, because it's the only game I taught him.

Next time, I think I'll try to play a certain number of hands and count the profit / loss.

Couple of questions:

1. What did my experiment prove ?
2. What would GTO suggest against this guy ?
3. What is the logical explanation of the fact that this thing actually works so well ?

Here's how it works:

It's ALIVE !!!! 😀

Is it pronounced 'Kin- visible or 'Kay' invisible?

1) That you should play higher
2) The closest approximation of nash intention
3) Windows XP

It's pronounced [Kay Invisible]. Like Jay-Z, B-Real or G-Unit.

What do you mean by "play higher", bigger bets ? I played a really decent game. Quite risky sometimes, but no big mistakes from me.

I think it proves that being just unpredictable in NLHE can turn you into a decent opponent. For the human it's difficult to be unpredictable if you see your cards and you're aware of the situation.

It's really fun to play against K-INVISIBLE. When you can play real money games, it may not be that exciting as it is for me, but I like playing bots.

But I think it's pretty #@*^$%@ amazing that the stand alone deck of 52 cards can outplay you in NLHE.

I'll try to play a 50 hands match against him and see how many BB I can win.

Challenge completed. I played 50 hands (100 BB starting stacks) against my bot and I ended up with +75BB profit. But it wasn't easy, I had to play really good this time. He had to reload his stack once, so at one point I was +118BB. He was playing really good poker. But well, I'm not a bad player either

At least you now know that I'm not cheating here 😀

That's a relief. It really annoys me when people fake their WR in public.

OK guys, time to start a serious debate. Let's put the jokes for later, take a look at these numbers and please comment !!

Or you can just choose one from the two options, if you want to keep your post short:

1. ITryDeuces is the worst poker player in the world.
2. K-Invisible bot is gangsta !!

I really was trying to win this challange #2 ...... :

It's not that the bot is unbeatable. It's beatable (challange #1), but from the bot's perspective - any poker player in the world is beatable, too. Even this guy:

Don't blame me, I just read what the numbers are telling me.

I'm having this image in my thoughts since yesterday:

K-ERRRRPOW!!!

Take that you pitiful LOL cards

Little did you know that I had a RED CHIP POKER CORE PRO membership in my arsenal... (!!?!!)

I've got everything I need to build and refine my poker strategy. With hundreds of videos on everything from live cash games to online tournaments, I, Batman, can find intermediate & advanced material to increase my edge at every table I sit at.

  • Including complete access to CORE
  • Hundreds of pro-level videos and playlists
  • Complete access to The GTO Ranges App

Joker can be defeated, but remember - he'll come back every time you press PLAY / START on your DVD player or other device.

In other words, he is there and always will be .... hiding in the shadows of the 52 cards.

"K-Invisible" proves that:

1. Anything is possible, even some of those things that seem to be ridiculous or impossible at first.
2. It's worth to set the bar high, because only then you can reach even higher than you have aimed.
3. Consistency of content and continuity of work are two main rules of understanding and being successful with creativity.
4. If something tells you "you can do it" it means that you can do it.
5. Deck of 52 cards is a very powerful and complex mathematical tool.
6. NLHE is a little bit more unique, powerful and complex game than everyone previously thought.
7. There is an unknown factor in NLHE, which when reversed can outplay you.
8. There is obviously a "program-like, with interface structure" factor in the reality around you.
9. No law, no people and no circumstances will be able to take away poker from you anymore.
10. (OPTIONAL) If you think that the word FUTURE means: smartphones, AI, digital transactions and payment methods only, complexity of interfaces / multi-tasking then bad news for you - you've just lost a huge pot, because I'm taking you back to the times when Texas Hold'em or even the deck of 52 cards were invented.

I'm sure you agree with at least one of these ten points 😀

1. Disagree. I tried doing anything once and I completely failed.
2. Disagree. I prefer to set the bar embarrassingly, super low and then exceed all expectations. Expectations are ruinous, dangerous things ime. eg. exams
3. O-K, agree.
4. 66% true.
5. I've never actually ever seen a physical deck so i'll take your word for it.
6. Nah. It's a LOT more unique than people realise.
7. ???
8. I have escaped the simulation. Outside the weather is fine.
9. I'd like to see them try
10. The seventh century AD? Can i take my kindle?

11. Correct. I have agreed with at least one of your points. i think

Thanks for the reply. It tells a lot about your point of view. We need more people posting here.

Have you thought about a giveaway? That's how you reel em in these days. With trinkets and prizes.

Ceres, the man on your avatar is hiding behind your WR, I think he might be representing an interface structure ghost of "K-Invisible" since the main character of the movie it's from is named Kevin.

I'm suspecting you have been sent to this thread for the purpose of channeling subconscious secret "counter - content" by the lower GTO forces.

The name of my bot "K-Invisible" comes from the hand that ended my first match with him, he was holding then K 9 when he won. Word "invisible" contains 9 letters. Just in case you thought that this name was inspired by your avatar. It wasn't.

Solved.

Well.. broadly speaking i wouldn’t ascribe any of my wittering to any species of intentional malice or despair; it’s so much more likely to be profound insolence and lazy, 2 mintue thinking. Although I suspect that’s what you meant too. Aha! – praise be duality, without it we are playing boring games like mononopoly.

As you are almost certainly aware Deuces, the 9 of spades is a powerful, nightmare fuel card. So yay, I do think you be messin' with forces that can’t or won’t be constrained to K9-Invisible’s deck alone. You may think you have the better of things, as did I, but the true goat knows when to play dead and when to play moronically, per hand. Per street. Per bb.

Per b.

Per .

Interesting. I wonder what do you think when you look at my profit or should I say my loss results in post #7 ? What can you read from these numbers in poker terminology ? What's your impression ?

Doesn't it mean that due to the fact there is no green color in any of the 50 hands, that I was solidly crushed by K-I reaching -384BB result ?

I know you haven't seen any of the hands, but I was really trying to play some good poker against this beast. I even managed to make one hero bluff with big pot, but it didn't lead to reaching profit.

I think K-invisible has a ludicrous advantage. When you do win (via some fluke or K-I meta-deception) and they don't pay up.. you're utterly screwed. Like Scooby Doo without the happy comforting ending.
