While this is true the abstract, in most cases where this happened, a poster (usually Kelhus) would claim that the MSM was ignoring some story, and then people would find not one article, but a dozen articles, in the MSM discussing exactly the issue that the poster claimed was being ignored.

Well, there is "covering" a story to make sure it goes away, and there is "COVERING" a story to manufacture consent/outrage. And I am pretty confident you can grasp this concept when it comes to the right wing media, and only play 'raised by wolves' when it is media you align with ideologically.

Do you think the Hunter Biden saga was just good, organic journalism by NY Post and other right wing media actors? Or you do you think it was completely overblown to manufacture outrage?

And we shan't forget everyone promoting the Wuhan Lab Covid Theory having such content immediately deleted.

And almost the entirety of Legacy Media promoting the lie that Joe Biden was mentally sharp.

I didn't read any of the NY Post's coverage about Hunter Biden. The Post is a right-wing tabloid, so I'm sure the articles reflected as much. But beyond that, I couldn't say.

In any case, I don't know what the NY Post's coverage of Hunter Biden has to do with your affinity for claiming that MSM outlets are not covering stories that they in fact are covering. (To be fair, in recent months, you seem to have mostly abandoned this tactic.)

I would say the mainstream liberal establishment (including the media) is going through a Sista Soulja moment, and realizes manufacturing racial animosity and gaslighting on political matters Americans actually care about (such as immigration and crime) is not good electoral politics. The media is behaving better (for now) and concurrently I am not as critical.

And several books and many articles have come out recently detailing the cover-up of Biden's cognitive decline.

Was the area of the country you were in predominantly Muslim or Christian? And if Muslim, would it have been advisable for Western women to walk around in public unattended?

And would the same hold true for today as it did back then?

.

Strongly majority Muslim and yes completely safe for them.

I don't know, it was decades ago. The point is against slurring all Muslims.

He might be a fruitier than a nutcake, but that's in spite of being a professing Christian. He has eternal life. What do you got?

He doesn't actually believe in the existence of a god though - he was brought up in a religious family, is incapable of thinking for himself so adopted their customs. He's just a pretty standard Sunday church going hypocrite.

Your description doesn't match the MrWookie I engaged both here and on UP. (Although he and I disagreed on virtually every thread we both participated in.)

There's probably a kernel of truth to this, but also I don't remember people here saying that 35 million Christians should be terrorized or that they're afraid of Christians because they're all terrorists, or anything comparable to the level of casual anti-Islamic bigotry that's on display here.

I have definitely said I'm fine with Christians being terrorized, and that I think they should also be banned from travel to the US.

I even kind of get a kick out of it when there is a mass shooting at a church. Not sure if I had said that here or not, but now I have.

by geezerchess m

MrWookie is a professing Christian.

I thought Browser was too, though I could be remembering incorrectly.

Excellent, now we're actually getting somewhere, and I think I am even able to understand the point you're trying to make despite your broken English, which I can only assume is not your first language (no small thanks to the AI answer there, which is actually comprehensible, unlike your chicken scratchings). So, who is preventing you having these adult discussions on this foru

Be careful, I was once pilloried for my assumption that Victor's first language was no English. But it did have the side benefit of inspiring him to improve his syntax.

And almost the entirety of Legacy Media promoting the lie that Joe Biden was mentally sharp.

Do you think this is somehow worse than the right-skewing media promoting the lie that Trump was ever mentally sharp (or physically healthy)?

by geezerchess m

And several books and many articles have come out recently detailing the cover-up of Biden's cognitive decline.

Maybe I've missed it, but I haven't seen any allegations of that apart from extremely biased sources who had no special knowledge or evidence of things that went on between white house staff about this issue.

Our fear is from all civilian Muslims, because any one of them could be a terrorist. Until the activity stops, we should be treating every Muslim as a potential terrorist.

Our fear is from all civilian men, because any one of them could be a rapist. Until the activity stops, we should be treating every man as a potential rapist.

😀

I like this game!

by jalfrezi m

Ah so that’s it. In fact I’m an English Uker and have no particular gripe with you other than I think you talk a lot of shite, most of the time.

My username is my favourite Indian (Nepalese in fact) dish, another example of you talking shite.

it is not nepalese, not even remotely

fwiw jal is a common prefix in arabic and persian and given your irrational white knighting i figured it was some sort of portmandeu (frezi like garry=gazzy over there) based on your roots rather than an homage to a 6th tier curry

I said all civilian Muslims, but really I meant civilian Muslim men, since all the terrorists seem to be men.

I'm also fine with not allowing any foreign men at all into the US. If we still let in lots of women, that greatly improves the population ratio.

You can just say “all men”

by Crossnerd m

You can just say “all men”

I just did?

I said "foreign men" because those are the ones not already here - I'm talking about immigration.

That doesn't mean that I think all men are dangerous, but immigration can be very selective, and I'm fine with being too careful over not careful enough.

If female immigrants start causing lots of problems, I would cut off their immigration as well.

Pretty sure Jalfrezi is a bengali / british thing

Big fan but I find it very hard hard to get a good one these days

It's portmanteau, not portmandeu. No one calls anyone Gazzy here. Getting small things wrong is no big deal unless you're aggressively wrong at the same time, rick.

Haven't been there for a decade or so but the Great Nepalese in Eversholt St used to do a great one. A regular refuelling point after weeknight drinks.

OK but your guess was still hilariously wrong.

Maybe "Gazza".
