Best throw-away jokes in film and TV!
Only rules are that the joke can't have anything (or very little) to do with the actual plot...and "joke" movies and sho

This isn’t even remotely verbatim, but in my favorite Simpsons episode, Krusty is talking to bus lawyers about his merch deals. “…and they filled it out on these Krusty The Clown brand legal forms…”
But the reason it’s my favorite episode is because it has my favorite throw away: “Don’t you hate pants?”
In Trading Places, I love the moment when the Duke brothers are trying to explain trading to Reggie, and they say something really condescending, and Eddie Murphy just breaks the fourth wall and looks at the audience like this:
I also love the part where they give the servant his Christmas bonus. "Five dollars. Maybe I'll go to a movie...by myself "😆
In His Girl Friday, Cary Grant describes a character: "He looks like that fellow in the movies. You know, Ralph Bellamy" in response to Rosalind Russell asking what a character looks like.
The character is played by Ralph Bellamy.

Oceans trilogy ripped that off with Julia Roberts. The Kashmir bit remains the single unfunniest scene in movie history.
Vinnie, how long ago was it you was made?
Long time, thirty years.
Thirty years, Pikes Peak must’ve been a pimple back then.
Also Duvall’s young bull/old bull in Colors, and Penn’s subsequent fumbled retelling at the end.
In Unforgiven, when the W. W. Beauchamp tells Little Bill that he's a writer, Little Bill asks "A writer? Like letters and such?" and Beauchamp tells him he writes books. Later on, after William Munny kills everyone at the saloon, Beauchamp says he's a writer, and Munny goes, "Letters and such?"
I’d forgotten that, thank you.
It’s not really a joke but me & my buddy have been saying Russell’s Old Room regularly for over thirty years now.
Also in Rivers Edge after they get shot at, Keanu: What a crazy fkk, Crispin: Tony’s always broke anyway.
I think the Whip It clip has been slightly speeded up, I remember there being more of a pause between They’re Having A Good Time and So Are We. Still awesome, the speed up helps Don’t Let It Bother You—DOES IT LOOK LIKE IT’S BOTHERING ME
If can find a clip of the laying/taking bit, God Bless You
My favorite though

Animal House
Just before the parade everyone checks their "synchronized" watches all set to the exact same time. But last is Belushi whose watch is set to a totally random time to which he gives a confident nod.
always liked this one...and that a young black man is telling a very funny old Jewish man joke.
In Trading Places, I love the moment when the Duke brothers are trying to explain trading to Reggie, and they say something really condescending, and Eddie Murphy just breaks the fourth wall and looks at the audience like this:
There's also a good callback to this movie in Coming to America, where the Duke brothers are living on the street and Eddie Murphy hands them a bunch of cash to help them get back on their feet.
The Simpsons is the king of throwaway jokes. There is so much going on in the background that you can easily miss a bunch of them even after multiple viewings, and almost every single sign/store name has some sort of gag in it.
Raising Arizona
Evelle: [about the balloons he just bought] These blow up into funny shapes and all?
Grocer: Well no... unless round is funny.
my favorite RA line: "Son, you gotta pantie on your head."
