Jury nullification. If the judge forces the jury to look at like they do what would be the point in having a jury at all? They do try and pressure the jury yes but they can't force them.
In any case that doesn't apply here as he has a solid argument for self defense and feeling in imminent danger. If fat boy got a hold of him things wouldn't necessarily have gone so well.

I think saying he was scared on the video is a smart move. Even if the way he said it seems to suggest the opposite.

Nevada is a stand your ground state which gives the guy in the white shirt every legal right to defend himself. If someone comes at you in an aggressive and threatening manner then you have every right to defend yourself if you think you are at risk. You do not have to wait for the other person to hit you first. You just have to establish a fear of being attacked and with the way the fat guy was acting it gives the white shirt guy reasonable belief that he could be attacked.
If you watch the video closely you can see the white shirt guy steps around the guy in the middle to avoid the fat guy. Once he gets around him the fat guy then steps towards white shirt guy while still being aggressive. That gives the white shirt guy the right to defend himself.
I'm almost positive that nothing will happen to the white shirt guy when it comes to a criminal offense. A civil case is another story.

There is no sucker punch when the fat guy is the clear aggressor. If you're going to approach someone like he did then you should be prepared for possibly getting hit.
