NBA 2025-26 Season Thread: THE NY KNICKS ARE CHAMPIONS! BING BONG!
Lettuce NBA!
and lettuce lol @ James Harden
Solid 2 minutes of play from Westbrook. 0-2 FG with 2 turnovers. That was brutal.
i doubt going from 82 games to 68 would do much, hardly anyone plays more than 70 anyway these days
Strawther just out there having fun
yeah tech support got me rooting for the nuggets
this series has been fun
Nuggets really trying to **** this up
Sidenote: I’m not prepared to show my work but I am confident these 5280 jerseys are the worst jerseys in basketball
Dort made a couple of threes so now he has the freedom to go -16 in 21 minutes.
I do not think Williams will do much barking tonight
Please!!!!! Nuggets win G7.
I dont even have a horse in this race.
But Jokic does!!!!
Classic 'foul trouble' nonsense affecting an NBA game.
Thunder were on a roll and up several points when SGA picked up his 4th foul in the second quarter. They took him out and the nuggets capitalized. They then played different than usual rotations and lost the game.
SGA finished with 4 fouls.
So as usual, a team punished themselves for no reason because of this strange concept of 'foul trouble.' I hope I live to see the day where NBA coaches ignore 'foul trouble' and simply play their best rotations until a player fouls out. It's the most rtarded thing I see in sports coaching that teams penalize themselves voluntarily for something they haven't even done yet.
if there was ever a game where everyone plays well instead of:
a. jokic good/everyone else s**tty or,
b. jokic s**tty/everyone else good
G7 at OKC is the time for this to occur
twolves have to be loving this btw...lots of extra rest for them compared to nuggets/okc
SGA is a bigger free throw merchant than prime James Harden
Jokic's hobby is basketball and he's 10X the player SGA the FAKE MVP is.
Murray is a PLAYOFF PERFORMER
I got Nuggets ON THE ROAD in g7. Come with me if you want your bankroll to live!

This, this, a million times this. Been screaming about it forever, realized it intuitively the first time I saw it 45+ years ago. Shocked Cubes never commissioned a study on it, or just ordered them to ignore fouls the last 4-5 games of a season that didn’t matter.
Why not at least experiment with it in the G League? This isn’t like starting a baseball game with your omg closer

Jokic has more turnovers than assists in the OKC series. His three point shooting has been pathetic. His shooting overall has been bad. He is missing free throws. I think teams now have a blue print for how to shut him down. There should never be a blue print to shut down a great player. If the Nuggets lose this series it is his fault. He is definitely one of the top players bu
In the two games since this post, Jokic is averaging 36.5 points, 14.5 rebounds, 6.5 assists, 2 steals, and 1.5 turnovers. And he has shot 67% from the field and 60% from three.
Totally solved. All hail the blueprint.

That's neat. Now show us his stats for the entire playoffs so far instead of cherry picking in what you think is a gotcha moment.
The 6.5 assists is the part I was talking about. OKC and The Clippers crowded the lane and made it difficult for Jokic to distribute like he usually does.
I predicted in another post that Jokic would have a big scoring game and he did with 43 points. When you are hot and make shots at a high percentage that's what happens. I would say he was overdue for that. I watched nearly every Nugget game this year and never saw Jokic have a bad game. The year the Nuggets won the championship Jokic did not have a bad game in the playoffs. He has has several bad games this year. Obviously no team is gonna shut down Jokic every game. So far both teams in the playoffs have played Jokic very well. If not for a couple horrific games by Jokic this series would be over.

Is this some sort of joke? OK. Here you go.
For this entire post-season, he is averaging 26.7 pts, 13 rebounds, and 8.1 assists per game on 49% shooting from the field and 38% shooting from 3. That's a little worse than the regular season, but well within the bounds of random variance, and still better than any other player this postseason.
