2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan
I need this man in my rooms
That guy doesn’t like money .
He’s convinced he’s being unique and getting an advantage on the field. But he doesn’t realize the reason he’s unique is because these teams ****ing suck.
First DK team in about a week.
Purdy, Penix, Bryce
Bijan, Bucky, Mason, Dowdle, Corum, Hunter, Moss
London, Tet, Devonta, Jennings, Olave, Aiyuk, Malik
Kincaid, Otton, Arroyo
Almost had all of the Philly skills players sans Barkley, but an auto drafter sniped me on Shipley. Also, RB at week 14 could be a concern with Gibbs the only verified starter. Got some decent contingent value pieces though.
Love, Maye
Gibbs, Chuba, Henderson, Benson, Lloyd, Ford, Sanders
AJB, Terry, Devonta, Shakir, Reed, Ky Williams, Austin III, Felton
Andrews, Goedert, Henry
Think it ended up ok, but just annoying that I can’t read
Burrow, Mahomes, Rodgers
Judkins, Javonte, ETN, Guerrendo, Giddens, Shipley
Chase, Rice, DK, Jeudy, Pittman, QJ, Bryant
McBride, Gesicki
This was a tough qb draft… lotta sniping had to scramble for back stacks
Purdy, Ward, AR
Gibbs, Cook, Tuten, Javonte, Giddens
AJB, Rice, Addison, Olave, Aiyuk, Legette, Ayomanor, ADM
Hock, Loveland
Maybe the NE/NYJ game in W17 will surprise us.
Purdy, Fields
Jeanty, Hampton, Mondre, Guerendo, Braelon, Corum
Ladd, JSN, Waddle, Godwin, Aiyuk, Mooney, MWill
Strange, Mason, Schultz
Do I have enough at wr
Hurts, JJM
Bucky, Conner, ETN, Braelon, Shipley, Hill
JJ, MHJ, Smith, Shakir, Egbuka, Mims, Felton
Kelce, Goedert, Gesicki
Probably hinges on whether or not Shakir is that guy this season.
If they were available, I would've gone with one of the following:
Olave, Godwin, Jennings, or Jeudy over Conner
Higgins or Tre over Kelce
Bateman or Mims over ETN
well I didn't have a lot of 2025 draft capital, but I acquired Terrance Ferguson with pick 3.03 (.75 TEP), Jarquez Hunter with pick 3.11, and LeQuint Allen at 5.11. Snead/McVay's track record in the draft is really high, was happy the Rams guys fell to me. TF is an elite athlete and has nothing but old man Higbee standing in his way while Corum failed to impress last year and Hunter's perirpherals are strong. There's some question on whether the Rams will give Kyren a contract after 2025. It's annoying I was hoping to get Jalen Royals at 3.11 but he went 3.10. I tried to trade up knowing 3.10 was for sure taking him.
Mahomes, Geno, Shough
Gibbs, Achane, Javonte, Ekeler, Dowdle
Rice, Tet, Pickens, Olave, Shakir, Shaheed, Bech
Engram, Chig, Juwan
I'm really liking my Super Hero RB builds. Taking 2 RBs in the first 5 rounds with at least 1 of them in the first 3 rounds. Then not taking a 3rd until round 10 or 11.
I'll probably do something like a 4:1 ratio of Super Hero to Zero builds.
I try not to decide what build I’m going with until after the first few rds, but agree that 2 hero rb is nice
Really happy with this rb heavy start
Baker, Stafford, Ward
Jeanty, CMC, Charbs, Spears, Hunt
Adams, Evans, Waddle, Godwin, Aiyuk, Bech, Ayomanor
Andrews, Pitts, Otton
Dak, Herbert
Monty, Kaleb, Brob, Giddens, Hill, Hunt
CD, Ladd, JSN, Hunter, Flowers, Harris, Tutu
Ferguson, Pitts, Strange
Actually I'm going to take Blue off my soft fade list. I have yet to draft any of him, but I might start sprinkling some in occasionally.
Lmao
The backstory is that Herzig created a fantasy contest to build teams with drafters who are firing BBM at a high volume. Griddy is one of the cheapest options lol.
Yep I already drafted my team.
Spoiler
Griddy did not make the cut
Griddy could be the low owned leverage piece you need.
Dedicate this team to Heels
Lamar, Bryce
Henderson, Swift, Najee, Dowdle, Hill, Corum
Puka, London, Flowers, Tet, Meyers, Mooney, Legette, TeSlaa, Felton
Kraft, Likely, Arroyo
