LVL crew at the WSOP 2025
I'm going to try something new here. Maybe it takes off, maybe it's a dud. But we can't know unless we try.
Is there any interest in creating a Las Vegas Lifestyle crew at the WSOP?
Maybe it is as simple as having people to meet on breaks to discuss hands played/get feedback. Maybe it is a way to have people to go on dinner break with. Maybe it is a handful of different meetups throughout the series, depending on who is in town and when.
The way I see it, the best way to see if there is any interest is for people to post the dates they will be at the WSOP, and then people in town at the same time can figure out how to meet as much or as little as they desire.
I think this is an opportunity to create a sense of community at what might otherwise be a very solo experience. The rest is up to all of you.
I am arriving on the 12th of June for two weeks, and although I won´t be playing any WSOP events it would still be fun to meet up with LVL people for dinner or a drink. So yeah, post here or in TR or drop me a DM or just catch me at Aria.

And I will be in Vegas between 9th-20th June. Likely will only be playing one actual WSOP-event + a Daily Deepstack or two if the upstairs ballroom have had an AC installed since last time I was there.
I don't drink alcohol or eat food (sort-of), but happy to say hello to anyone if we are in the same vicinity 😀
I’m always interested to meet fellow 2+2’ers and put faces to the names of some of the great trip reports on here. And as you say it can be a little lonely if you’re traveling alone.
I think TJ is going to try and organize a dinner or get together or something.
@rppoker i hope you’re still in the colossus, but if you do end up playing #31 let’s get together on one of the breaks.

I’ll be in town June 12 - July 1, then again for July 6 - July 15.
Would be happy to meet-up with you folks, but I'll only be in town a few days in June, the 15-18 for the Salute to Warriers. I expect I'll be free on the 16th :-)
I'll be there June 11-19th. Not exactly sure what my tourney schedule will be yet but likely the Salute to Warriors as my "official" wsop event.

I keep switching up my dates, but 6/14-6/24 is the current favorite. Also contemplating a warm-up leg from 5/30-6/04.
Open to meeting people from 2p2. I met GolfPro in 2023 and we chatted some during a Colossus break. That being said, I'm pretty much non-stop firing events when I'm in Vegas and the schedule can be very fluid when you don't know where/what/when you'll be playing. I'd be reluctant to commit to a concrete time/place.

Cool idea. I’ll be in town from 6/20 to 6/29. Would definitely be up for drinks and maybe a dinner if it lines up with tournament downtime. Would be fun to say hello to the LVL crew.
Buy a whole pizza and divvy it up like Diesel.
I would label it 2025 wsop... maybe we can do a new one every year, that way the data is searchable by year
I'm planning to be there 6/16-6/19 to play the WSOP $1000 Seniors event.
I've never played the WSOP before, only played a few live limit holdem tourneys decades ago. I'm a $3/$5 NL cash game regular.
Any suggestions on strip hotels for me to stay at? I prefer something not too expensive. I was thinking about the Paris, since I've stayed there before and it was ok. A plus would be a hotel with a good fitness room with weights.
Great idea. I get in very late on June 21st, leave very late on 27th. Planning to play: 22nd Battle of Ages, 23rd 500 Freezeout, June 26th Gladiators.
Stage door is a great dive bar and is close to Horseshoe, just saying.
