New fast food discussion/review thread

OK OOT, it's been a while since we had a devoted fast food thread around here and I think it's time we had a new one.

It's in a Costco parking lot. Place is probably going to be a crap show for months, hopefully the in n out part actually works. Costco plus INNO mind is blown

city of ridgefield planning for you

This just dropped today.. soon

That's a Wendyburger?

KFC has a new "chicken & waffles" combo.

the combo is:
- small fries
- two chicken tenders
- a waffle that looks like an Eggo waffle (yes I stole this comparison from Reviewbrah's vlog)
- a small container of syrup
- a drink

All for like $10.99!

this is literally one of the most LOL combo deals I've ever heard of. it's like KFC doesn't want anyone to eat there anymore.

^ Meh...

I love me some KFC pot pies, and some extra crispy bone-in chicken. Other than those, yea that's lol

funny how kfc still has the nostalgia hooks into us even though the food mid at best

I still dream about the days when KFC sold a bucket of ribs. I loved those things.

hold a bucket in the crook of your elbow and play the lid with your fingers as if it were congas

KFC is def mid and very nostalgic.

Gotta utilize online deals. And I swear 50% of my chicken breasts have barely any meat on them.

The Colonel would not be pleased with how they massacred his son.

Starting tomorrow, The Habit is giving away a free chicken club with $5 purchase. Available in app thru Friday.

I have a distinct memory of the KFC cold case, circa mid 80s. Full of coleslaw tubs and maybe pudding cups and jello? Nothing better than a tub of slaw, taters n gravy, and that original recipe.

Now? The kernel hasn't gotten my money since the hot honey era. I can get 80-90% as good chicken and coleslaw at WinCo. Praise be

It's like when they got ashamed of both "Kentucky" and "fried chicken" and started hiding behind letters, they forgot who they were.

I can trace my own experience of their ruin, the first signs, back to 1991 when the extra crispy I'd get in San Antonio suddenly started seeming both extra mealy and less crunchy, probably due to some cheap filler.

Heir Colonel...

KFC about .5 miles from my house. About every five years or so, I'll remember it being better than it actually is, and go get some.

That's plenty for another five years.

When FF franchises think they are record companies. Sorry, wrong thread.

Enjoy your free CD "drops", Bellers.

Substitute 5 with 15 and this describes me as well.

30 years ago KFC chicken and sides were good. Now it doesn't even get a passing thought.

For me, Walmart chicken is about 90% as good as KFC. Banquet frozen is about 85% as good.

I got KFC last night. It has a drive-thru, don't even have to get out of the car.

Walmart has a huge parking lot and I'm never 100% sure they have any ready to buy.

Banquet frozen? My oven is broken.

$5 grocery store/Costco chickens have killed KFC for me.

My family use to have a 4th of July tradition of going to KFC then heading to the neighborhood fireworks show. Last 10 years, we started going to 4th of parties (and fireworks) instead.

.

I hate the 'super chickens' that they use at grocery stores. there is nothing natural about them.

At grocery stores I'm usually buying their fried chicken on Fridays when they have 8 pieces for $5 about once a month.

But yeah, that Costco chicken is almost a small turkey. Yumm!
