[WSOP.com Nevada] Unofficial thread

Since WSOP locked their thread, why can't we have our own?

Do you have a valid link? Says expired.

Thanks!

The random WSOP crashes when trying to sit on waiting lists is so annoying. The "game updates" are ruining this site.

wsop down for anyone else right now?

So i just got booted this morning playing the $10 turbo, sign back in and all my notes on every player are all gone? Did this happen to anyone else?

There has been a note problem for a long time. Mysteriously disappearing and reappearing, different color codes changing.

I just gave up and started taking notes with pencil and paper like a f**cking pilgrim.

Damn, LMAO ^

2025 and WSOP can't get it right.

How often does WSOP give out deposit bonuses? I haven't played here too much but saw there was code MAY25 for $400 this month. Is this a monthly thing?

A while back it was monthly for quite some time. Then they slowed it way down for awhile where it was like quarterly (every 3 months or so they would do one with their online seasonal series). Now its been back to monthly again for a quite a while (since around when michigan joined in I'd guess?).

TL: DR : yeah its monthly right now and has been for a bit, but they might change it again at any time

Is it possible to deposit even if I have say a 4 figure balance in there and still get the bonus ?

I plan on playing more cash games there next month and that might be a good rake back hack.

Yes I do it every month

I assume they will do another 1k bonus for wsop, pretty sure they did that the last few years

That's great, after playing on clubwptgold it feels good to be back on a site that doesn't absolutely max greed rake without any bonuses. (Granted, b4 the update clubwptgold was goated).

It’s every month.

has anyone done the math on how much rake paid on wsop.com = diamond or diamond+ status?
can rewards from wsop.com be used for wsop events at the horseshoe?

Pretty sure it’s $1 rake paid = 2 tier credits
So to get diamond $7500 in rake would get you there.

Just to double confirm, yes you can, all the regs do this, I believe it works out to getting ~ an extra 20% rb.

Apologies in advance for the lengthy post. I will likely have to move to Manhattan soon for school/work, and had a few questions about legal poker in New Jersey. This seems to be the most active thread with players from NV/NJ/MI.,etc. If there's another thread or a FAQ, please feel free to link me.

Basically I'm wondering if it's worth moving to Hoboken (NJ) over Manhattan to have access to the legal online poker sites. With New York about to ban sweepstakes poker, that will take away my main grinding site (Global), leaving only ACR, Bovada and Coin.

How do the PLO games compare in softness on WSOP/Party to Global and ACR? Are there enough 100-500 PLO games to support 10+ tables?

I was also hoping to get a quick rundown of the rb offers from each site? From what I could find online, WSOP offers up to 40% rb, correct? I couldn't find a definitive answer on Party. Does anyone know what they offer?

One last thing: do either of the sites have hard max table counts? I downloaded the software for each and could only open 4 tables max on Party, so I'm assuming that's the limit. WSOP doesn't seem to have a limit as far as I can tell.

Thanks for the help! Trying to decide if it's worth the extra commute time to live in Hoboken and have access to better sites, or if the difference in game quality is so marginal that living in Manhattan would be better/easier. Fwiw, I plan on grinding full-time during my first and second year in school, so this decision matters a lot for me. ACR games are just botfests at this point, and I would like to avoid them if possible.

Edit - I forgot about Pokerstars NJ. Same questions: How are the midstakes PLO games? Rb %? Max table limits?

Wsop is the best site, no tracker/datamining/most active player pool now that sites are merged and highest RB + if you live near AC you can use the caesers rewards system. (rakeback is about 42% iirc)

Non regulated games are awful, can’t speak on PLO but NLH you can get 10 tables on wsop active almost all times of day outside of M-W from like 6-9est 100-200NL

Most likely if you play MGM WSOP you can get 10 going at all times any day of week. Stars isn’t merged and is dead in PA. not sure about NJ.

Thank you for the insight. I've been tracking the lobbies of Party and WSOP. It does seem like 10+ tables is easily sustainable throughout the day at mid-stakes PLO.

Any PLO regs here who can speak to the quality of the games? I would also still like to know if Party has a 4 table cap (or if that is just for observing) and what the rake/rakeback situation is there.

Nothing personal but do the work man. If you take poker seriously spend a week playing and determine it for yourself.
