[WSOP.com Nevada] Unofficial thread
Since WSOP locked their thread, why can't we have our own?
Nothing personal but do the work man. If you take poker seriously spend a week playing and determine it for yourself.
I would gladly give the games a shot if I could. Unfortunately, I do not currently live in one of the legal states, but I will likely have to move to NY/NJ soon for school/work. I'm trying to figure out if it's worth moving to NJ for the legal sites and commuting to NY (Manhattan) or if it's just not worth the trouble.
I figured out what insta crashes the client. When the lobby is open and you double click on a table you're already sitting at it 100% crashes. The waitlist buttons on other tables doesn't crash for me.

Yep, same for everyone I think. You guys should send them emails about it. Not that I expect any quick changes, but if enough of us complain about one glaring issue, maybe they'll push it up the priority list.

You're a couple months late to figure it out, but yes that is the consensus. Switching to tourney screen or whatever to refresh the cash game screen works sometimes.

Take a couple day trip out there to look at apartments and check all the lobbies for yourself if its this big of a decision for you. The games on wsop are prolly the most above board and with stars/wsop/party you'd be fine volume wise. Your other option outside of acr which is pretty dead for plo is playing in private clubs on apps

Yeah, that's my plan. I've been scoping the 3 lobbies lately and there's more than enough PLO games running to keep me occupied.
Thanks for the feedback.
I noticed my rewards points are getting transferred to caesars rewards at the end of each month. I reached out to support and got this response.
The rewards points automatically get converted at the end of each month, due to our policy.
You can either have the points converted into tournament tickets or immediate bonuses.
Is everyone else's rewards getting transferred at the end of the month? If not is there a better email I can reach out to than ? I swear it didn't used to transfer out all my un-redeemed rewards each month. Also its not clear exactly what time they transfer the rewards, so I'll need to be redeeming every few hours on the last day of the month i guess..
I received this email from WSOP today. Does anyone know if this is on top of Rakeback Iβm already getting through points?

They are normally pretty generous with rb, I would imagine it’s in addition to

hey what the hell! I thought that was a special offer just for me. I feel so betrayed
When did WSOP add 8 handed tables? I'm seeing them for the first time tonight from 50 NL up through 500 NL.
How are people getting custom default opening sizes on wsop.com? Settings only shows 3x 2x ect. I want 2.5x.
My turn.
So theyβve added Big O tables but for some reason you canβt see the cards youβve been dealt until itβs your turn to act. Even the blinds are just the back of the cards until the action is on you.
Why would this game be different from every other table on WSOP? Rhetorical question. I know itβs just what it is.

Yes... this is the mechanic. I have no idea why it would be different. But everything is random and different.... and not consistent across game/limit type.
The showdown mechanic is different for different games as well.... and has been for months now.
They didn't add PLO5 or PLO6 for PLO/8, removed HU tables at 2-5 PLO, as an example for no good reason (it was the most played level) even though they kept them at 1-2 and 5-10+.... and don't have any HU tables for PLO/8 at all.
So, your guess is as good as mine why they do things and why things work the way they do.... and for the most part... if asked... they would be guessing also if they even responded at all.

This is done to prevent cheating/collusion in games where the more cards you're being dealt the more info any group of players that are colluding could have

LOL.
Ok, so I'm all for game protection. They offer none otherwise, but sure i'll bite that this is the reason they did this even though, again, they have practically ZERO track record to indicate that they'd even take this type of thing seriously..... or are proactively thinking about this.
If that's the reason they're doing it.... it isn't gonna work.... the 5 second delay won't matter... they should do it for all four card games also... and then they likely shouldn't be offering these games at all..... because it's not enough of a deterrent.

Your name suits you well
can anybody tell me how we can save notes and color codes?
client just crashed and didn't lose all my notes but all my color codes changed.
Thanks for any help...
Sure. Fair enough. I'm more than willing to accept that I'm an idiot. That isn't a huge leap for me.
With that said... and ignoring my idiocy for a minute, can you please tell me how what they're doing prevents collusion from occurring?
I appreciate any insight that anyone might be able to provide me.
