eliminating Hercules for lower case and dream bc didn't fit got us to 3 options and 2 were ours; nerve was just a good hit also
I think sweaty woulda helped get us on smell and coach more than sweat?
Not capitalizing a name in order to avoid a name on the board is an interesting strategy that I don’t remember seeing before. Is that a legit way to clue? Capitalizing a random clue in order to include a name isn’t legal afaik. What’s the difference here, just the opposite way?

Yeah, I don't think it should be legal and can definitely see it being abused in the future with cities/countries/etc.

If you allow arbitrary decapitalization then you could do all sorts of weird stuff. Fortunately it didn't matter this time, so no harm done, and we can solidify the understanding going forward.
