Anyone have an EDGEBoost Visa debit card at the WSOP?
Does anyone have this onsite or linked to the WSOP+ app? Rumored to be a no fee way to register through the WSOP+ app plus can be used to buy-in at other B&M casinos during the summer. Very high deposit but insured up to $250K.
I'm curious if this will allow me to not carry $30K+ cash to set up the Cage account I used last year to online reg for events.

never heard of it.
Just go to the mega satellite tournament area to register. There is hardly any lines since its so far away and hidden.
Its up on 2-3rd floor past the Horseshoe poker room on the right side.

Thanks, but the real point is not bringing any cash to LV at all. Safety, security, etc. It is very new but sanctioned by the WSOP. Not sure if it can be linked to the WSOP+ app or only works at the cage.
with the wsop+ all i see these 4 payment options:
1. normal credit card
2. paypal
3. Lexon Pay
3. ACH (i assume is a checking account).
I don't have it, but I know a group of people who have it and have used it already. No need to carry cash with it, and there are no transaction fees for using it through the WSOP+ app. And from what I understand, if you link the card to PayPal and use that to register for the tourneys, you don't have to verify your card in person. The card is accepted at other B&M casinos, but many of them, like the Venetian, only accept cash or chips to register for tournaments, so you can't use it for tournaments there, at least not yet.
How do you go to vegas and not bring any cash at all?
Just keep your cash in a safe spot.

I think the concern is for those that want to bring A LOT of cash. 10s of thousands, and more. They'd rather have a way to get the cash out there in Vegas, instead of carrying it with them when they travel. There are many ways to do that, and this new card is one of them. It's a debit card that allows you to get cash from a casino instead of having to go to a bank, wire money, get a bank check, etc. You can also use it with WSOP+ to register for WSOP tournaments, without having to have cash on you. I just got the card to use it for WSOP tourneys, but I'll certainly be bringing cash with me, just not as much as I've had to in the past.
