There is something to be said for Christians and other religious folks not engaging in politics.
As noted above by many posters, there is always a measure of compromise involved when a person of religious convictions votes for someone who does not share their religious convictions.
For example, in 2012 some conservative Christians thought it was wrong to vote for Romney, who was a Mormon.
It seems that many of the posters here might argue (and maybe they're right), that the conservatives would have been more consistent with their faith to have NOT vlted for Romney.
I think that may be a valid point for me to contemplate.

I think both sides are creepy. Liberals are creepy in an individual kind of way. They are nervous, neurotic, sweaty palm and overly emotional. MAGA is a creepy ideology but the individuals are ok. They consume way too much right wing media. They are racist but mostly in a pointing out stereotypes type of way. They do treat all people with respect. Obviously there are violent racists on both sides. You can have a conversation with them and they won't storm out of the room outraged like a liberal might.
