Bomb Pots Need a Discussion
It seems as if the new rage in poker is what are known as bomb pots. This is from page 74 of my book Cardrooms:

This game is now played for one pot on dealer changes in regular NLH games all over the place.
I don't quite follow how it creates an ideal situation for players to collude.
I think KABOOMing bomb pots from all poker rooms everywhere would be an overreaction.

No, I don't think it leads to increased collusion.
While worried about increased collusion is definitely a worry (knowing what other cards are out of play is huge in this situation), that said a much bigger worry is that bomb pots are yet another way of the skilled extracting an exorbitant large amount from the unskilled.
Poker is all about the skilled extracting money from the unskilled in the long run, no doubt. The only debate is the rate at which it happens and whether that rate is good for the poker community overall.

Spot on. I love double-board PLO bomb pots for me personally because so many people play them poorly. But I also recognize that it's a net negative long-term for the poker eco-system because the recreational players get absolutely demolished in that format

I don’t play much bomb pots but I have played a bit of mix. I imagine you should treat it like a split pot game and try to play two way hands (in this case hands that are strong on both boards) or hands that have one board locked up that you try to get people off of a chop with.
