[ClubGG] App Poker Discussion
Anyone know how to get into clubs for clubGG (USA)? Even the unionized ones. Just looking to get into some clubs. Thanks
Any idea why that is? It feels like I'm playing musical chairs on ClubGG having to sign up for different clubs all the time.
I miss the stability from when Pokerbros was the top app.
most important aspect of club poker is who your agent is. Clubs will def close, agents will fold and not pay players out, unions will f your club then they will f you... it really makes a difference the reputation and connections of your agent, if they arent guaranteeing your funds(tough to find nowadays) the more competent/experienced they are the more their players funds exposure will be limited.
Am I allowed to recommend a 2p2 account? Hes active in this chat, green thumbnail 😀
Something has to be wrong, my cpu is running very hot and using 75% and I am using a 9900x, anyone have any tips or suggestions to fix this? A modern 12 core processor should handle this application with ease.
dust remover makes the world of difference with stuff like this. You might need to run a malware search and factory reset your comp. Save your files in the cloud and redownload programs you need one by one

I appreciate the help, it must be the processor itself. This computer is basically brand new, your talking less then a month old. It seemed after an update the processor started working alot harder. Ive done windows defender, but could try another scanner for sure.

good post imo
if the agent has a good rep and is well networked, they are more likely to be able to help you in case something does go sideways

if it's a windows machine, check the task manager to see what program is using all the CPU/memory
well your browser is using a lot of memory, but yeah obviously clubgg is using all the CPU - wow
out of curiosity, if you have clubgg open, but not any tables, is it basically the same percentage?
Each table does add an amount, but yea high cpu with just the app open alone, it can go over 50 with no tables open, I don't study it, but it's ridiculous for being the newest amd AM5 processor.

I'm not sure if this is relevant, but here is the AIOverview about GPU by Google. (Not CPU.)
Is 100% GPU usage bad?
AIOverview
No, 100% GPU usage is generally not inherently bad, especially during gaming. It indicates the GPU is being fully utilized and is likely necessary to deliver the desired performance and visual fidelity. However, sustained high usage can lead to overheating, potentially impacting longevity, and should be monitored.
Here's a more detailed breakdown:
Normal Usage:
If you're running a demanding game at high settings, a 100% GPU usage is expected and signifies that your GPU is working efficiently.
Performance:
A 100% GPU usage means your GPU is the limiting factor, and it's being used to its full potential. This is usually a good thing, as it indicates you are getting the best possible performance.
Potential Issues:
Overheating: If your GPU stays at 100% for extended periods, it can lead to overheating, potentially causing throttling and reducing performance.
Longevity: While GPUs are designed to handle high loads, prolonged 100% usage may impact their lifespan.
Increased Noise: High GPU usage can also lead to increased fan noise as the GPU works to cool down.
Solutions:
Monitor Temperatures: Use software like GPU-Z to track GPU temperature and ensure it stays within safe limits.
Cooling: Ensure your GPU has adequate cooling, either through case fans or a good cooler.
Adjust Settings: If your GPU is consistently at 100% and you're experiencing overheating, try lowering graphics settings or limiting framerates to reduce the load on the GPU.
Not Necessarily a Problem:
If your GPU is at 100% during a demanding game and temperatures are within safe limits, it's not necessarily a problem. It simply means your GPU is being fully utilized to deliver the desired performance.

And about high CPU usage:
High CPU usage by the "System" process in Windows can be a sign of various issues, often related to hardware drivers or background processes. It's important to troubleshoot the problem to prevent performance slowdowns and potential overheating.
Here's a breakdown of potential causes and troubleshooting steps:
Potential Causes:
Driver Issues: Outdated, corrupted, or incompatible hardware drivers are a common culprit.
Background Processes: Unnecessary background processes or services can consume significant CPU resources.
Malware: Malware can also manifest as high CPU usage by the System process.
Hardware Problems: In rare cases, hardware malfunctions can contribute to high CPU usage.
Overloaded Drives: If your storage drives are heavily used, it can indirectly impact the System process.
Conflicting Programs: Sometimes, certain programs might interfere with the System process, causing it to spike.
@shanemooscat is a scammer - will contact you first, claiming to have a large network of agents, clubs, and players of his own. They will then provide what is most likely data from a club that is not in fact their own. He will then request a hefty amount of credit with daily settles (lol). Most recent telegram name was “Stephen Curry”.
I highly suspect they don’t have the funds to play and want to try and run it up somewhere quickly, hence the daily settles (nobody really does that for credit), and the fact he can’t provide any vouches of past partnerships.
Be careful out there. I already know of multiple other clubs he has reached out to.
ClubGG just had a Update. Now Everyone who has a Club and more than 50 Members + is a level 1 Club can easily create a Union. Let's see if that is something positive or not.
Hello, is there a list of reliable agents and clubs? It's difficult to get into the game when you don't know anyone.
New Club opening - low rake zero tolerance for any cheating whatsoever and transparency for the players.
Soft opening coming soon.
Looking for table starters - High RB incentive -
Club will be tied to youtube channel so you always know where the owner is!

Do not play in the club ThePlayHouse on the Clubgg platform, id - 758219, you will not be allowed to withdraw a large win. https://forum.gipsyteam.ru/index.php?vie...
So the concept is playing for play money then hoping to get paid out by club owner ?
This is the model for online poker in general, but also other forms of poker where you use chips.
The further you get from a casino (since we know that casinos maintain the highest of ethical standards), the more risky.
The main reason I even know about 2+2 is that we used to use it to compare how long it would take between one site or another, when they were sending checks through the mail or whatever they had figured out after Neteller. Some of them used Western Union. Less than two months was acceptable.
Now, if I want a payout, my agent pays within a week. For me, it's a lot less stressful.
Very weird I don't know if it was some sort of weird bug, or an update happened. I recently changed to an AMD card and now my cpu usage has went way down to where it actually looks normal.
Are they not brining back the normal MTT schedule now that the Road To Vegas schedule is over?

How do you scammers all meet each other?
hi could someone please explain how club gg works for me in depth please, the clubs, the agents, the player pools, ive heard different clubs merge the player pools together etc for larger mtt fields. Is there common knowledge on what clubs and agents are the most reputable. Thank you!

disclaimer: i am an agent
clubgg and other similar apps give people the ability to run their own "play chip" online poker games. if you create a club, you can decide what games to run, how much to rake, etc etc. if you decide to turn your play chip game into a real money game, and everyone pretends the chips are dollars, and they all settle up on the side - well, that's not clubgg's concern.
anyone can create a club and add players to it. you need a certain number of players, and your club has to exist for a certain amount of time, before you can become a new union. then, perhaps you have some other clubs join your union. if you want to have your club join an already-existing union, you'd have to apply to and get in touch with the people who run that union. some unions only have a certain number of club spots available.
on clubgg, i believe that all clubs within a union will share the same player pool, both for cash games and MTTs. i think on some other apps, like pokerbros, this was not always the case.
agents bring players to clubs, in exchange for getting a % of those players' rb. the agents would have worked out the numbers/deal ahead of time either with the club owner, or with the agent above them who offered them the deal. sometimes there can be more than one level of agent for a club. example: the club offers 70% rb out to some agents. those agents then offer 50% out to other people, and then maybe those people offer 30% out to other people, etc. getting a supply of new players into your club or union is very useful.
the agent is given out a certain amount of credit by the club, and the agent and club settle up, usually weekly. the agent will then either give you the player some credit, or will ask you to post $ up front. you and the agent will then settle up from time to time, usually weekly.
as a player, you'll want to find and work with a reputable agent. IMO a reputable agent will be able to help you find one or more safe good-rep unions and clubs for you to play in. you'll also ideally receive reasonable rakeback, good customer service, advice/help if you run into an issue, etc.
i feel like this post is getting pretty long, so i'll stop for now. feel free to ask more questions. welcome to the forums and to the world of app poker :-)
