New fast food discussion/review thread
OK OOT, it's been a while since we had a devoted fast food thread around here and I think it's time we had a new one.

No, it's thicker and not as floppy. Floppy makes it better.
I was in a Dominos once and talking to one of the cooks, lamenting the late-great Brooklyn style. He knew exactly what I was talking about. He said the only diff is the crust is thinner and he can make it that way on request. Naturally, I was too stupid to ask his name so I could mention it in the order.
Pretty sure NY Style (and Brooklyn?) is just a medium pizza stretched to a large. This info coming from a former Domino's asst manager.
I got the NY style last week I made my post. The slices are bigger and they were cut into 6 pieces instead of 8.
Today, I just noticed that there are now ads in the McDonald's app! Is nothing sacred? Lol
I suddenly feel the need to subscribe to Snapchat.
for mcds or other?
I had a dream I was with Mark_K in Cali feasting on the FF options
I had the best chicken tender of my life last night at Howlin' Ray's @ The Venetian
It’s an LA transplant as far as I know, Venetian one just opened and is first LV outlet as far as I know, but I’ve been aware if Howlin’ Ray’s for a while. Wonder how it compares to the CA locations.
Wonder how long it is before they really blow up and sell to Private Equity and become trash like Dave’s Hot Chicken did.
How do we feel about Houston’s Hot Chicken? Personally I like it better than Dave’s which I also like, but…things just do be getting worse all over.
The new Smore's McFlurry is on point.

A FF cynic knows the endgame of every franchise but doesn't appreciate the current status quo where its price-point meets flavor.
I've been hitting the Little Caesars near my place lately. Getting the crazy bread and hot and ready pepperoni pizzas. Anyone else a fan of Little Caesars? I think a big reason I've been going is because there was one near my house when I was growing up. And I hadn't been to a LC for many years.
Their stuffed crust is really good, cant go wrong with crazy bread either or their Italian cheese bread. Regular pizza pretty weak tho.

There's only one outlet in my town. It's so popular there's no such thing as hot and ready. If you want one, you have to order it.

Ray's is getting quite the love from a poster in the LVL casual dining thread.
I just drove past a Houston's location that will be opening soon on Blue Diamond 2 blocks from the Zaxbys that just opened. $12 for a sandwich or 2 tenders and fries is kind of steep. I do like the look of the waffle. Doesn't look big enough to make your own sandwich using one though. That'd make a good addition to the menu.
