WNBA 2025 Season Thread
Gabby Williams should be a first time all-star as well
Sloot injury looked brutal.
i had sloot 70/1 to lead league in dimes, she was starting to cook too
for sloot to lead in assists, you'd need Reese to get injured :(
could've been nice hedge piece down the stretch atleast
Angel shoots with worst form than a 4th grader.
Brittney Sykes also cruising to her first ASG
Weird thing is her shooting form has such basic corrections to be made and they aren't being made. She rests the ball more on the base of her palm than on her fingertips, meaning her shot is more like a shot put and inaccurate. This is easy to see and I don't understand why it doesn't get corrected.
Do WNBA players train against men in the off-season? Like scrimmages against college teams and the like? The feminists don't want to admit this or do it, so seems like a big edge.
my buddy keeps telling me about this betting instagram meme account which just says the key to printing money is betting no on angel reese making first basket
So we aren’t talking about CC’s return game and the Fever ending the Liberty’s unbeaten start to the season?
Phoenix doing really good things with what they have. Someone to watch now that theyre healthy.
Smesko probably the COY but Tibbets is in the mix
If Angel Reese could shoot she could play in the NBA.
So we aren’t talking about Li Yueru getting traded to Dallas?
She's tall .. and otherwise completely useless
Dallas is a dumpster fire. Paige is legit but it'll be a rough few years. I don't think Betts is going to translate over either so getting #1 again probably won't move needle too much, Miles/Fudd are good players but not #1 level players.

I'm a pretty casual basketball fan, so maybe I'm wrong. but to me this doesn't seem out of line. she was sticking up for Caitlin Clark who is the literal star of the entire league. the girl poked cc in the eye, and then maybry knocked cc down. and I guess Sophie is the enforcer of the team? idk... but I thought you were supposed to defend your star player... and the tackle really wasn't that bad. and then she shoved her after she got up, but shoving a player doesn't seem like a big deal to me either.
Indianapolis the only place where you got white security guards

I saw the play today and seems Cunningham was only player defending Clark. Totally fine with hard foul at the end. This is like 80s nba stuff. CC has crazy swag. Basically a female Larry Bird if she develops good enough trash talking game. Physicality or casual racism isnβt gonna stop her
I wish the Aces would play that rough instead of getting manhandled every game now.
I read on twitter that sophie is a black belt. if true, she probably could have done a lot more damage if she wanted to.
to me, it didn't seem like she was trying to hurt the girl, just send a message.
