Had to show that I’m not only 3qbing with Lamar (although I wanted to, felt like 6th rb and 3rd te vs dimes was close)

Lamar, Bryce

Jeanty, Jones, ETN, Roschon, Shipley, Hill

Btjr, Tet, Rome, Jennings, Downs, Bateman, Coker

Njoku, Kraft, Juwan

Starting to get better at planning out my SF teams.

JJM, Bryce, Milroe

Hampton, Kaleb, Pollard, BRob, Charb, Dowdle, Lloyd

JJ, CD, Tet, Deebo, Legette, Pierce, Austin III, TeSlaa

Njoku, J. Ferguson

It’s tough to plan. Even in the slows I sometimes have to sit there for a few months and really plan out positions for each pick, especially trying to correlate and hit pockets.

I do a lot of queueing.

The main thing is trying to plan out stacks for the QBs since you're usually going to have your QB before your pass catchers. So after I draft a QB, I'll do this off to the side

Then check the draft board to see if I'm picking near those spots, and when are where I may need to reach, and where I can risk pushing it a bit.

Maye, TLaw, Leonard

CMC, Cook, Monty, Mason, Tuten, Keaton, Gibson

JJ, MHJ, Waddle, Diggs, Pittman, QJ, Dyami

Andrews, Strange, Otton

I don't think I care for Leonard, but I suppose he could have multiple paths. I think I'd rather add two of Howell, Brissett, Zach Wilson, or Mullens than Leonard and Gibson.

I just fired two. This one might be over stacked lol. I also did the dreaded 3 QBs in the first 3 rounds, but I was playing the w17 game for SF/Chi. Need some help at RB.

Lamar, Caleb, Brock

Cook, Mixon, Guerendo, Roschon, Justice, Shipley, Corum, Emanuel Wilson

Reek, DJM, Jauan, Rome, Pearsall, Bateman

Andrews, Juwan, Higbee

Second one, also went heavy QB, but from rounds 3-5.

Stroud, JJM, Darnold

Gibbs, Jones, Etienne, Tracy, Chubb, Dowdle, Giddens

CD, JSN, Addison, Pittman, Tre, Kirk, Coker

Andrews, Juwan, Conklin

Adding a 4th QB over Gibson is reasonable.

I'm not a fan of Leonard either, but out of the QBs you listed, he's probably the only one that wouldn't require an injury to become the starter.

That’s true. But I just wonder what is the upside if it comes to that lol.

I get the dart throw. I just like to target guys who I know are backups and who I think have a good spot if they’re playing.

Once or twice I’ve considered taking him but decided I didn’t like it.

It was draft slot 10 in a Schnauzer.

Thanks!

I like this team a lot except I've never heard of Leonard. Is this super flex?

Yea, it's SF.

He's the QB3 for the Colts. Drafted in the 6th or 7th round. Not great in college. I'm betting on both Richardson and Jones being who we thought they were (the worst QB1/QB2 in the league), and Leonard getting some shots down the stretch.

Edit: Forgot about the Saints. Colts could have the second worst QB1/QB2

I wouldn't doubt if Richardson gets traded at some point. I think the Colts are done with him. Tapping out of a game is just something you can never un see. The owner who drafted him is no longer with us. His daughters may take this another direction. They paid Jones a lot of money. He's making more than Rodgers. I can certainly see the path though in SF for this kid to be relevant.

Thanks for sharing.

I like Herzig, leone, and Kerrane. The other players in the best ball industry are just noise too me. I'm sure Liam provides good information but he's too arrogant for me. Davis and Spags are too goofy and annoying for my liking.

Do you have any other go to listens?

Herzig/Leone are the cream of the crop and pretty far ahead of everyone else. But I hate Levitan being involved in most of the things those two record with ETR lol. I don't really listen to Silva, because he's not best ball focused.

I do like Kerrane, but he's done more solo streaming lately, and I don't really care for that. He's best in collaboration, and I watch most of the collaborated Ship Chasing/LegUp streams. Jakob Sanderson collabs with these guys too. I like Jakob, but he also has some arrogance in how he thinks and plays. But I do enjoy listening to his strategy talk, even if I don't always agree with it.

Liam is certainly arrogant, but I like listening to him because he's a bit of a contrarian, which also brings out some of that arrogance. He has no shame telling you when he thinks he's right lol. He does not subscribe to hive mind. At least he has the results to back it up.

Spaggs is quite simply the worst content creator in the space. I will never listen to him.

Davis is mostly bit entertainment, but yeah, he doesn't provide a ton of value. I rarely watch him solo, but I'll watch some of the weekly collab shows where he is involved. He's more information and fact based, but I don't feel like he does a great job applying his knowledge.

Pete Overzet does some fun content. He's one of the more premier creators. One of my favorite shows every week is his Monday morning best ball breakfast. He streams for 4 hours straight where he does a solo draft, one draft with Kerrane, one draft with Leone, and one draft with a rotating weekly guest. All drafts are BBM. It starts at 10 am eastern.

Pat with Fantasy Dog Pound is a fun listen and is humble.

EmoCowboy/PPRTyler/BestBallGuy all kind of work in tandem and are newer to the space. Their analysis is mostly vibes based, but I think they are fun entertainment and still feel like I receive some value watching them.

Neil Orfield can provide some decent content, but he's also one where I'll only listen when he has guests.

Greg with Coachspeakindex has been streaming more and more. He's pulled some pretty big guests lately. I think he does a good job, and it's always nice to hear analysis from his perspective, since he's more tuned into what coaches are saying than anyone else.

The BadgeBros cover a bunch of sports, mainly focused on the dailies. But I'll listen to their NFL content too.

You do have to be careful with certain guests on some of these streams, as some of them aren't really best ball focused and you really need to contextualize the analysis to account for that.

I've probably listened to all of these.

I may have to force myself to take in some Liam streams. I do get the value. I'm probably too easily annoyed.

Orfield is good with DFS. I haven't heard his best ball content.

There is a creepy vibe about "Coach speak" that keeps me away but I'm sure there is value there. Last year it was useful regarding the Dan Campbell talk about Jamo. You could see the progression from not so good to good.

I've never been a fan of Levitan or Silva.

I would like to find some strictly player take non best ball content. I listen to Fantasy Football Today and they do a decent job but it's mostly for entertainment. I want a more deeper dive content.

Thanks for the response!

Great write up, Heels.

I really like Liam, but agree he comes off as arrogant at times. Still, he has kind of earned it based on his results. I regret not subbing to his site earlier in the off season.

Agree 100% on Spaggs. I've found myself watching a few of his streams simply because he does a lot of DK, but every single draft he's just taking the player with the highest ADP.

He’s semi-retired but Sam Sherman is extremely sharp imo

Agreed. I really miss Sam on ADP Chasing. Schopp just doesn’t do it for me.

Most of Sam’s takes, especially the contrarian ones, end up being directionally accurate more often than not.

Last year zero RB seemed to be the way to go. The last few years it had been what worked. I remembered thinking to my myself watch this be the year it doesn't work. I felt that way not because I loved the stud RB's. I felt that way because I wasn't overly confident in the zero RB targets starting in round 7 ish. Also, last year was a horrible year for rookie RB's. Rookies have been very important to a zero RB portfolio. I feel like we could have been more prepared for what happened last year.

This year I feel the same way about QB's. The fantasy community seems confident that there are plenty of later QB's you can get. This is very similar to how we felt about the later RB's. I'm wondering if we may be a little over confident in how good these QB's will be. I'm starting to think that this may be the year to grab the elite QB's. It's much easier to stack them this year except Burrow. A couple of the guy's like Allen and Hurts seem to be going later. Mahomes is very affordable.

I'm not going into any draft with a specific plan. I will be grabbing the elites anytime they fall past ADP. I will grab a good amount around ADP.
