MattParker Coinpoker Account Restriction

This is Cam Barry, aka CTB123 on global poker. I'm alarmed to read many recent posts with similar stories. My coinpoker account MattParker has been restricted and customer service has taken days to respond, or not responded at all. I've supplied them with all the KYC documents they've requested and they do not respond with any regularity or with any clarity. It's now been a week since my account has been restricted with no explanation as to what is taking so long or when I can expect my account to be reopened. This is not how a poker site should be run. In 20 years of playing online professionally, I have never dealt with a more unprofessional support team. I do not have a trivial amount in the account. I would hope someone with $50 in their account would be treated better than this, but certainly someone who would play 10 hours every day of high stakes with 100s of thousands of dollars in their account deserves clear and timely communication.

I really like playing on coinpoker and really hope this issue can be resolved because I'd love to play more there, but reading so many similar stories and having an absolutely horrendous experience with their support/security team is really dissuading me. @coinpoker rep, I see that you're very active here, perhaps you can shed some light on this situation.

I hope it turns out better for you than it did for me but you may be out of luck.

I went through a similar process as you and had my account frozen and ultimately banned with my funds stolen. As far as I can tell, there is no way to win with their security team. They just look for any excuse they can come up with to justify stealing your money. Attempting to reason with them will get you nowhere.

Their gaming license isnÂ’t worth the paper itÂ’s printed on. The gaming authorities that are supposed to keep them in line are absolutely useless. I tried to appeal with the companies that hold their gaming licenses but they did absolutely nothing. They sent one email and then completely stopped responding.

Hopefully people see the number of horror stories associated with CoinPoker security here and donÂ’t trust them with their funds anymore.

They did eventually get back to me, after 8 days without a simple response.

They're still investigating my account, after 12 days total. I understand that these types of reviews take time, but even with a dozen of them in que,
does it really take this long?

Their rep, coin_poker on here, has just gotten back to me and is now attempting to expedite the process.

That really is a shitty situation, hope it all gets sorts out


A security review is underway now and this player is co-operating with the investigation - we hope to get the matter concluded as soon as possible and will keep the player updated regularly.

@Cam we've sent some you recent emails that don't appear to have been opened - last one being on Tuesday can you check all inbox folders and get back to us with the information requested, thank you, you can also DM this account if that's easier and we'll escalate it to the best department.

I opened the email days ago. According to that email, all requested information was submitted and accepted successfully.

Ive never rly tried to grind on there, just pop in on occasion and dump mtt score or run it up. Only site Im ashamed of my username history. It wouldnt even benefit me to be known as this fish account Id just get labeled permanent R

sounds like they'd been trying to reach out. Hoping for clean runout.

I had an interview with the security team last week where they asked me to review my play and they were satisfied with my answers.

You'll be seeing me put in a lot of volume on coinpoker. It's a great site. Thanks to the support and security team for proving my suspicion correct that it's a solid site.

This is a bit comforting to read, but I'm still a bit weary for myself. I just had my account restricted and they said they'd reach out to me. Although reading Throwaway9k's story is not comforting at all.
