A Chip and a Cash
In the $1K seniors, I managed to cash the tournament with exactly one chip.
I was down to 5.5 BBs and the bubble was quickly approaching. However the level up was also at hand...
So, I needed to stall enough so that I only had to play 2 sets of Blinds, but before the blinds changed.
I managed to get my blinds paid, and play the button. I was left with 1500 chips as the break/level changed. I lost the chip race (poetic justice, the story isn't as good with 2 chips), and cashed with 1000 chips; one yellow.
This is about as good as it gets; that chip was worth about $45 when we started the tournament; it was worth $2000 when we cashed.
I won my first all in, and had a decent shot with my second, but my T9s couldn't outdraw AKo.
