Taking the conservative approach with AQo
1/3 NLHE 8 handed
Game is okay afternoon game with a lot of fish. V sat down opposite us and the game is getting a little worse so we'll probably book a win and leave soon.
V - Asian winning TAG. Very strong player by my estimation. Very studied. I've played 2/5 and 2/5/10 mandatory UTG straddle with him and a few sessions of 1/3. He's on the tighter side and has no issue running a huge bluff. He's the guy that folds a lot and then suddenly 3-bets or cold 4-bets. VPIP around 15-18% on average. He's running bad this session and is on his second BI but doesn't tilt. 450$ HJ.
---
Folds to V who opens HJ to 10, folds to H in BB who sees A♦ Q♠ and just calls. HU OOP.
Flop 20 - A♥ J♣ 9♠
H checks, V bets 10, H calls
Turn 40 - 4♣
H checks, V bets 35, H calls
River 110 - T♥
H checks.... How do you like this line? Whats the most you're calling OTR? (if you're calling).

Hand is very standard
Yes this hand is well played so far.
I would call up to pot on the river. It is really not easy for Villain to find a bluff here when JT and QT pair up. A good villain can still bluff with those hands though, as well as something like K7cc. Plus, against a reasonable sized bet you can chop with AQ that is value betting.
If Villain overbets, I would fold. Going to get bluffed occasionally but I’m OK with that.
looks fine. id fold to a huge river bet. too much beats you.
It's fine. Call up to 1.5 pot. H has really under repped their hand, and this V likes to throw big bets out where they may not make sense. Presuming crusher tag is noticing how passive Banana's played this vs other hands, and may feel that Banana will fold Ax to enough pressure. Just a thought I had reading the post.
When did we stop 3! AQo out of the BB heads up? I missed that memo... Honestly would rather fold v this V-type instead of calling.

I think it’s a close spot, and 3bet is definitely still good. I would always 3bet against a CO/BTN open. I like calling more against a stronger player too because we keep the pot small OOP and make good top pairs that are easy to call down with.
BB 3bet range is polarized and AQo generally doesn’t fit into either pole against HJ and possibly CO either
