He came!

He saw!

I was about to say he conquered the Seniors! Then this happens:
EP opens 700 at 2/3/300. I pop 2500 calls.
F:Ah10h3c, V checks, bet 3200, calls (has 6400 behind)
T:7d I bet 10K covering him, calls!
Hero:AKos V:As6s
River:6 Nooooo!
We doubled immediately with 10’s>A10os.
Still in it!
Played the Thursday Seniors $250.
The field was almost the same as DDS. We can call it DDS Seniors. If you guys are free Thursday 9AM you shouldn’t miss it!
Finished 28th for peanuts!
Now let’s relax at RW Nightly. Max late regged this like our favorite Cat, see what happens!
Geylang Clay Pot here I come!
Sit down first hand on my BB. UTG is AI. Button ISO’s 12K, we say WTF can’t even defend my BB and shove. Button tank calls.
KQos vs Ac8c vs A’s for almost a triple!
FT (8 remain) at RW. 7 pay, let’s see if we can spin our 54K into the money!
Considering I was down to 12K, will take 4th place ($1027) any day!
I couldn’t lose an AI on the River today!
As an example go AI with Ah2h. Board ran out 33334 and the 3 callers who called didn’t have an Ace. Sun Run!
Last hand AI with Ah9h. V calls with 92os and flops 2 deuces to end my run. Promised one dealer he will get 10% share if I cash and took care of him!
Back 2 Back Cashes Felt Good!
Congrats on the results thus far!
The guy in the 9 seat had our number.
Every time we build our stack to 50-60K. He would shove with some stupid hands/cards and I would call with decent holdings and double him up.
He would then proceed to pay the rest of the table.
Rinse and repeat.
First time, opens with K’s, two callers.
F: All diamonds he shoves and we call with Ad5d.
Second time, I build my stack to 55K again, he shoves with 9s10s, I call with AsKd
He rivers both straight and flush.
Frustrating event. Finally busted when I shoved over an open with J’s
V1: K10os V2: 9’s Hero: J’s
Blank flop and a 9 on turn to end our run 50 away from bag n tag!
For what it’s worth, after my bust out hand, the guy came around and said even after I gave you all those beats, you still were able to get back into the game. I would have gone on full tilt!
l remember when seeing Mouhammad Ali at the airport going on your plane flight or Jack Nicklaus at the Masters (I've seen both in person) was kind of a big deal but you just let them be. LOL who in the f is this nobody LOL?????? I'm fully convinced the internet has ruined American society and I was online pre internet in the 80's very much pro online. The internet could have been an improvement on society but here we are......it's absolutely ruined everything because we let it.
In other news yours truly has been running good in the 8AM Satty at MGM. Cashed twice for $360 and $800.
Craps at Paris was a good one today, in for 200 and out for 700.
Instead of sharing only the bad beats, let me share some good news today.
Let’s rewind to the beginning of yesterday shall we!
Me and a friend (whom I met during the series) partnered to play the Tag Team event.
Since there are no breaks in this event we decided to switch every two hours.
He started us off while I made $’s in the 1/3 game. There was this french player who was playing “double up or go home” style poker. Unfortunately I didn’t have any good starting hands to receive his contributions to the society. Not that we needed cards to win against this player.

We did win a hand where the betting went this way:
Pre $15, Flop $25, Turn $35, River $65
Board 755 J A
I guess he didn’t believe me at all. We show Pocket J’s to win the pot.
Then it was time to give a break to my partner. We started with 20K (too less) and left me with 10500.
After a little back and forth we reached 11K before this hand:
UTG opens 500 @ 1/200/200. We call with 5h6h and pickup a late position caller. Pot:2300
F:8h9hJs
EP bets 2K, we call and LP goes AI.
After indicating our feelings out loud we say, “Can we bust this guys ass with a str8 flush or go down in flames!” we wave the white flag to wait for a better spot. WWYD?
We were left with 9500.
A better spot was found immediately when we wake up with AcKc and open to 900 (@2/3/300), only to get raised to 2300. With 8600 behind we decided to go with it.
V shows red K’s. We flopped a broadway draw with one club and get another club to improve on turn and brick the river to hit the showers!
It was off to the Daily Deep Stack which would require the following title:
“Come and get it bitches!”

Our first table draw puts us in a sandwich position between two big stacks. We are mostly a spectator or preflop contributor to one of them. Things like KQ to Q10, Suited AX type hands where we don’t see the same color or suit!
We are left with half our stacking stack at this point. We make a stance with Ac10c and ship it on a two club turn (Turn was Kc). He makes the call with KQos and we brick the river. Hope our second bullet is a little better!
To be continued…
Part 2
———
In the last part we got knocked out of the deep stack event and took a reentry.
We were placed on the very next table from the previous one.
“That seat is cursed boy!”
I am not superstitious or sentimental in general, but, I definitely felt my previous seat was cursed. In the 4 levels 5-8, I have seen a good 15 players sitting down and getting knocked out in the same seat. Sometimes it is the seat and not the player.
Anywho we slowly started building our chip stack. My neighbors were wondering how I was doing next door. So, I raise my two stacks of chips to them and said out loud “Come and get it bitches!”.
It was a smooth sailing this time in the DDS. Not many tough decisions or spots. There were a total of 1290 players.
We sail smoothly into the money. We see the same set of players that play on a regular basis in these events, wishing them to do well in the tournament, but, internally wishing we do better than them or better than what we did the last time.
Before we know it we were in the money and sitting pretty with a 235K stack at bubble time. This event plays in three different modes, aggressive till re-buy period, cautiously protecting/accumulating till bubble and fuck-it mode once the bubble breaks.
“The devils hand kills us!”
Then the hand of the tournament happens, EP open shoves for 135K and we wake up with AK. We call and see the good news with a K on the flop and a blank turn. He gets up and starts preparing the exit when the magical 6 appears on the river. This decimates most of our chips and we are left with 85K.

We promptly ship them at the next occurrence of a decent hand before the blinds catch up to us. The hand we picked was KhJh. SB makes the call after getting an exact count with J’s and we don’t improve.
What seemed like a deep run ends abruptly with a 6 on the river, V catches the Devils hand to decimate us!
Finished in 134/1290 entries for $501. For all the effort we put in this event we made exactly a $1 more than the two entries we took.
