Haha love it.

Would anyone be surprised, and I’m not even kidding, if I said that I had $100 left of the money I didn’t put away in my backpack already. Paid for food at the airport, and chucked $70 into Huff and even more puff and…

Just $60 short of a hand pay, which would have made me miss my flight [emoji23]

Maybe you should only gamble during the last 24 hours of your next Vegas trip?

😀😀

Or just call it 10 one day trips.

Now you're going to go home and give too much thought to how long the streak might have run. :-)

You left in the midst of the streak of all streaks?

Crash Davis in Bull Durham: "A player on a streak has to respect the streak. ... You know why? Because they don't -- they don't happen very often."

Just kidding, sort of. Congrats on running hotter than the sun toward the end of the trip.

very very happy for you my man! any chance of buying an upgrade on the plane?

I did but only a $55 one for extra leg room. The difference between economy and business on KLM is just not worth it, it’s so incredibly expensive.

Already in Amsterdam, landed 12 hours ago and currently “enjoying” the hotel room with some jet lag and work.

Quick summary of the trip. Note that not everything is as accurate as it can be.

Tournaments: -$250 (only played one)

Cash games:

Results speak for themselves. I’ve heard horror stories about how bad cash is during the WSOP. Obviously I was lucky in some spots but overall it was smooth sailing and I am yet to find a really challenging 1/3 game in Vegas. Oh and with this score we have officially surpassed $20 000 profit in Vegas! Fish on heater?

Gambling: what the **** was that? I am going to be fully transparent. I did something pretty stupid the first week. I lost a couple of really really big (but not devastatingly big) pots at the Venetian. I was tired, I received some bad news from home (my wife was made redundant from her job with immediate notice, basically had to pack her stuff and leave immediately) and I went on super monkey tilt. Over the next 3 or so hours I lost 7 or 8k at the Venetian pits just firing everything like a madman and losing.

By Sunday I had lost in everything I touched and only had 1k left and had promised myself not to touch any more funds if I bust.

And the rest you all know. Insane heater to claw back from a $15 000 swing and finish the trip only being stuck $2000. I decided to fire one last $2000 UX bullet at Excalibur that went to ****.

I also spent probably 2k combined on gifts, restaurants and spa.

I’m going home with less money than I came with but man I’ll take it after a soul crushing week.

What’s next? I’m taking a break from Vegas. Not sure how long, probably back some time next year. Either March Madness or October, not sure yet. But I can’t take the heat, no more summer trips for me.

Thanks again for following and good luck for anyone still out there. PLO friend is still there battling hard for another 3 weeks:

Total since I started tracking in Vegas 6, 7 years ago?

FWIW different parts of the U.S. had a heat wave this summer. Right now it's the east coast, early June it was NV and AZ. It was probably 10 degrees F warmer than usual.

Sorry to hear the news about Mrs Muck's job. Best wishes to both of you going forward.

Heatwave or not it’s too hot. I love walking around outside, going all the way to Wynn or Venetian during the day and then back. But this time it wasn’t possible only early morning.

October or March are my best months in terms of weather
