Sunbathing - My Story

I'm going to post weekly updates as a way to motivate myself and if anyone is interested in reading feel free.

I am 29, living in New Zealand and have played poker on and off for 3 years now. In that time I have played exclusively in person and have cashed a total of $100k+ with the bulk of that through two indivdiual events. Though I only have ever won one trophy I really love poker and after taking an extended leave of time off due to mental health and illness I was motivated to play again.

Since now living in New Zealand I have access to GGPoker and have invested in myself through content such as BBZPoker and RYE to understand the game at a more fundamental and theoertical level and improve my game.

It's coming up to the first week since acutally dedicating myself to playing eveyrday on a proper schedule, doing mindset exercises and studying. My day consistes of waking up to study thorugh one of the courses I have brought, going to the gym and having a aftenoon nap to play the nightime schedule/early morning schedule on GGPoker.

Week 1 Overview
Week 1 saw me coming off to a hot start. The goal of this week was to learn proper ranges from middle and later postions, noting to play much tigther in EPs. This lead to some good results which has accelrated my bankroll, but not my ego. The biggest thing I learned from playing irl was bankroll managment and thats something I plan to keep doing properly.

Here are some of the more significant results I got this week, won the the very first tournament for the $2.1k.

The combination of running good and just strictly playing a game that focused on opening correctly, 3betting in postion lead to some good results, I also bagged into the micro zodiac festival for 66bbs and 10bb in the micro mystery bounty main (bad beat towards the end but alas we can grind a stack).
