2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan
So far I do think that we’ve been thinking about it correctly based on what they’re saying
I'm about to start that segment of the stream. Excited to hear their thoughts.
Glad to see them mostly punt WR and TE in favor of QB and RB, since that's been my primary strategy.
I think I've taken an elite TE once. I do like to get at least 1-2 Alpha WRs, but I prefer to hold off on WR unless I can stack one with my QB.
Yeah, Bowers and McBride are really tough clicks in SF. I'll be fine fading and having exposure in other contests. I think I've taken both once, and each time it was pretty far past ADP. I think I've taken Kittle 2-3x, all with Purdy.
I haven't been targeting alpha WRs in the first few rounds as much, especially when I don't think I'll be able to stack them. But I think the WR room on the team below is alpha enough with Reek/Evans. Probably should have stuck with 2 TEs, but I didn't want Russ completely unstacked.
Love, Tua, Russ, Milroe, Rush
Bijan, CMC, Harvey, TreVeyon, Wright, Wilson
Reek, Evans, Reed, Bateman, Doubs, McMillan
Jonnu, Kraft, Johnson
Reek and Evans certainly have Alpha upside. I like it.
Damn, I’m jealous. And got Reek back around.
I had to take Tua at 42 on my team above haha. 3-7-7-3 seems like the right track.
Not all red badges are created equally.
1.12 with the assist haha.
Very nice! lol
The final product...
Kyler, Stroud, Tua
CMC, Bucky, Warren, Najee, Allgeier, Keaton, Brooks
Reek, Devonta, Waddle, Higgins, Kirk, Wilson, Dyami
Jonnu, Otton, Kmet
I think I'll label it, "How Can It Not Advane?"
I think it's fine, but I would have taken Noah Brown over Wicks
That’s fair, i honestly forgot about him haha
I love how Brown went for an MRI two weeks ago and we haven't heard anything since lol. I have no idea who to actually take between him, LMC, and Lane.
Tried bully TE in the DK Milly. I don't think it's terrible, but I'm also not a big fan. Got 10 pick falls on both Ridley and Deebo, so that helped the WR room. QB is so hard to navigate on DK. You never know what you're going to get.
Spoiler
Caleb, Ward, AR
Bijan, Pollard, Najee, Guerendo, Roschon, Giddens
Rice, DeVonta, Ridley, Deebo, Burden, XL, Tolbert, ADM, DRob
McBride, Kittle
Also fired one of the $9 Button Hooks.
Spoiler
JJM, Bryce, Shough
Bucky, Harvey, Mason, Dowdle, Mostert, Monangai, Kendre
JJ, Jamo, Tet, Jauan, Mooney, Aiyuk (pick 117), Higgins (pick 141), XL
Bowers, Juwan
I actually kinda like the bully te team. Idk dk builds though so I may be underestimating how good teams look there
Ya, it can work. I just didn't optimize ADP as well as I could have. So was feeling a little down right after the draft, given it's already not a great strategy haha. I do think bully TE is more viable with DK scoring than UD scoring.
Definitely the worst possible chargers stack
Bakery Herbert, Geno
Gibbs, Kaleb, Najee, White, Chubb
Adams, Evans, Waddle, Godwin, Kupp, Bech, Wandale, Mwill
Bowers, Conklin
That is pretty gross, but you never know.
Heels/Jimmy - what time is good for an eliminator? I'm on EST (11:05pm right now)
I’m on central time, should be free until noon (1est) tomorrow then I’ll be busy the rest of the day
Okay cool. Maybe we can shoot for 10am est if that works for everyone.
