That's his biggest leak. He always plays pocket deuces.

LMAO. I saw a homeless guy aggressively washing his junk in the Horseshoe bathroom today. Hazards of the occupation.

I miss the city/state listings for the players in results. Any chance WSOP will do this?

What’s the ROI?

For those who are interested, Benny Glaser is Hero Value on Two Plus Two. He did a "well" (AMA) in the Omaha/8 subforum back in 2016-17. You can read it here: https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/44/om...

Congrats, Benny! Keep on crushing.

Thank you!

88 entries at end of day in $50K 9-game. Were 89 entries last year, so should be significantly more.

That heads up match in the milly maker was hysterical to watch. They could have planned it better to not make it so obvious, but it's not like they had much time to figure it out. They did a decent job, hopefully wpt still pays out the bonus.

Anyone see the end of the $1500 milly maker? One of the best HU comebacks I've ever seen by Yagimura, he won in like 45 minutes after starting with 1/10 his opponent's stack. Started it all by correctly folding 75 to a 1.5bb bet on 676 flop with 7bb behind.

It was pretty wild. Definite collusion for that $1 million WPT bonus.

It wasn’t even well thought out. If Carroll guy raises odd number it’s a bluff. If he raises even number it’s a good hand.

Fair enough πŸ˜€

Whats in it for Carroll ?

Whats in it for Carroll ?

Probably half a mil, for the low price of sacrificing the bracelet and shattering his integrity.

I didn’t watch the whole stream but how was the winners play before heads up. Surely if he knows when he gets to heads up with even a few BBs and he’s going to win, that’s gonna affect how he plays before then?

For that reason they should both be DQ’d

Amazing it’s not updated after X number of days. They don’t have some intern in a back room who can literally update it every hour? Or god forbid some sort of automation to update it wouldn’t be very hard at all. Pretty lame.

Its been updated today. Benny Glaser in the lead with 3245.51 points.

Think it's a bit weird that Scott Bohlman is almost tied with Glaser when he has a 1st, 2nd and 4th vs Glaser's 3 wins. Not sure what the calculation for the points is, but I feel like winning should be weighted higher. His wins were in big field events too (597, 1239, and 463 players), but I guess he gets dinged for all being small buyins with relatively smaller payouts

Scott Bohlman's total is also benefitting from already having the max 10 events from which he is accumulating points (future higher finishes will replace a lower point total). So far, Glaser only has points coming in from the 3 wins and one other tournament finish.

Winning gets like double the points of finishing 2nd, there’s no issue with the weighting here. Bohlman and Glaser are close to tied because Bohlman has 11 cashes and Glaser only has 4. That said, with the new rule that only your top 10 cashes count, it will be a lot easier for Glaser to get additional points going forward than Bohlman, who has already maxed out his cashes.

Michael Mizrachi once again making a deep run in the PPC, which he has already won three times. I'm not plugged into the pro scene much at all, but my outside perception is that he's not viewed as one of the very best by his peers. You don't see him going for big money in the 25k fantasy and I don't remember hearing tales of his mixed game cash prowess. However, he's made enough deep runs in this tournament that it seems unlikely to be a fluke. Anyone have insights here? I'm curious as to how he's able to shine so consistently against the best competition while not necessarily being talked about as one of the endboss players in general.

Huck Seed heads up in the 1500 Stud 8.

9.5M - 5.825M chip lead as of 9pm Vegas time.

Doesn't Bryce Yockey know breathe-right strips are sooooo 2024?

Huck lost. It probably wouldn’t have mattered but I really hate his check on 4th here. Probably could’ve saved 1.5 BBs anyway.

Shiina trying for a back-to-back-to-back FT with the ladies.

I have some buddies from the SoFla underground poker circuit, and they have mentioned that he made his rounds first as a damn good cash game player of all games (specifically nlhe and plo). However he was a very to himself kinda guy and pretty much only interacted with his brother. I would imagine that he never swaps with any vegas tourney regulars and doesn’t β€œtalk poker” amongst the friend circles that exist. If I’m not mistaken he invested some of his earnings with extended family in vegas. He is feared for sure, but I don’t think he is friendly with anyone who would give him his props.

If he does win his 4th I know this much. When he retires and walks by people will say there goes the best that ever lived.
