2024 Fantasy Football Thread

Gotta love any team that has handcuffs to three 1st round RBs.

Going to make a few teams on DK testing out a strategy of a slightly different roster construction. A little similar to the SF team I made recently.

1. Push QB1 all the way to R12-R13 and draft 3 total.
2. Stack them if possible, but don't make it a priority.
3. Focus on team stacks and W17 correlation.

Scoring is pretty flat at QB once you get past the elites, and it's not like the elites score so much that they become must haves. I think I'm good as long as I can get around 15pts from one of my QBs each week with a spike week here and there.

Slight addendum. If a stackable QB is available in R11, then take them, otherwise push QB1 to R12-R13.

Team #2. Saquon at 7, then forgot I had him and drafted Shipley at 199. Also managed to get both QBs stacked so win/win. Would've taken Shough at 199 over Shipley if I remembered about Saquon, but figured he or Dart might make it back around. They didn't, but I think 2 QBs are fine for this team.

I'm on DK. The number two slot has started with Skattebo, J Blue, Bech as his first 3 picks. Should I just put this on auto because it's gonna get thrown out?

If I felt like it could be a wasted effort, then I would at least get my team to be 2-3-5-1 or 1-4-5-1 and then put it on Auto.

I haven’t had any cancelled yet and I’ve had atleast 3 that I thought would do def finish it .

That's a good point as well. I've done 370 teams and only had 1 get cancelled so far.

He has been reasonable starting pick 4. What seems to be the criteria for throwing out a draft? Is it multiple whacko picks?

lol, didn't think the contest I'd see Christian Watson drafted would be the eliminator.

No idea if this is good for the format but think WRs are a little devalued, so leaned into the top 2 and tried to catch up at RB with upside/floor. Also focused on bye weeks. Only one position overlap with KW/Tuten. Looks like both of you avoided any bye week overlap. Very nice.
