Ontario players who travel. I have some questions
As you know Ontario has annoying legislation on poker and every site has had to wall us off from gen pop because we're contagious or DF is a dipshit...
Anyways. I'm not far off from the US and Quebec so I was wondering if any of you have traveled and continued to play and how that works. I'm interested in larger fields MTT's and would be willing to travel to scratch that itch. Playing in glorified SNG's doesn't really do it for me. I'm not playing high stakes or anything but the nostalgia of bigger tournaments has me jonesing.
Do you need a separate account? Do you need an address in the province or state? All our accounts were migrated to Ontario but I want to break out of my rusty cage and run.

Updating for anyone curious in the future who may live on the borders of another province (QC,MB) ***GG poker is not available in the US.
You can create a second account so in this case I'm using GG poker. GG emailed me back and told me I can make a GG global account for when I'm out of Ontario. 9000 players in Ontario to 197000 for global is a pretty substantial jump. More guarantees and bigger fields. More than two tables for cash games means you're not waiting for anything. Big win. For me it's a 15 minute drive to QC so on days when I want to do some serious grinding I've now got GG Global and global options for other sites pending responses from Pstars, 888 etc.
Hi, I am in the same situation in Ontario, I’m 2 hours from Quebec but travel there to visit family a couple times a year.
Do you know if there is any way to see what tournaments are available from inside Ontario? Pstars lets you on the global app, but I don’t have any way of seeing the GG list of tourneys or series.
Another question is about money. Do all deposits and withdrawals have to happen outside of Ontario? I’m assuming your money is locked up as you can’t access the account from inside.
you can still play on illegal sites without leaving Ontario lmao... theres plenty to choose from. Ontario poker is amazing and you should feel bad for your comments. play on acr if you wanna lose money in tournaments they will gladly take your money from your ontario home
