is there still a problem logging in to the poker app? i can play on my browser but not the app.
down for me
I decided to try Ignition recently, and I'm still having trouble believing what I think I'm seeing. Using the website, not download. You go to tournaments, you get a nice list like I would expect. You go to sit-n-gos, you get a nice list, just like you would get at any other site. You go to cash games and you get NO LIST of active games/tables. You can pick a game and a stake and have it seat you at an empty table. What??? Is this really how it works, or am I missing something? How does anyone navigate the cash game section if it works like this? I am really hoping I'm just missing something, because I just can't fathom the idea of the other. Thanks.

That's how it works, you cannot see the open tables. If there's a table with 5 players it will seat you at that table. If all the tables are full it will seat you at an empty one. But if it remains empty they will move you to the next open seat at a full table. I believe this is done to prevent bumhunting
Thank you SO much bigdave. Do you think any of the customer support people that I asked about this could have told me ANY of this? Of course not. Your answer was very succint, and very helpful. At least this makes some sense, even if not what I would hope for. I was ready to abandon ship, but I think now I will give it a try. Thanks again.
Hi, how are you? What do you think of Bodog's bots? Are they from the room? How is it possible that every time I have value, they end up winning the hand? It's amazing. Even when I'm winning preflop.
I understand that part of it.
That said, I have video evidence of time banks of 90 seconds being run down by the players at the table and then the same players getting a replenished 90 seconds on the next hand. That's impossible.
So, yes.
THEY ARE BOTS.
AND THEY ARE CONTROLLED BY IGNITION.
Could these accounts be humans who have found some type of glitch/exploit to get a fresh 90 seconds? I have watched #867 in the "triple header kickoff 100+9" go all the way through 5-6 different 90 second timebanks. They must be one tabling, because they are disconnecting and reconnecting (presumably intentionally) when it is their turn to act. My guess is that there is some way to do this that results in a fresh 90 second timebank being added.

I uninstalled the Ignition and Bovada software after I conclusively sent Ignition video proof of what's happening. I commented in their "online forum" and was promptly censored and booted from ever commenting again.
In review, what you are suggesting is that 36 random players, all registering in the last 30 seconds of late registration, all fill up 4 tables post registration, and all know the same glitch/exploit and are seated next to each other at nearly every MTT that Ignition/Bovada runs? This scenario seems highly improbable considering that Ignition shut me up really quick and banned me from commenting. An honest site would investigate, not censor.

This is no 'glitch/exploit', is just that if you max late reg the structure makes it possible for you to max tank each hand and fold to ITM. And probably the reason why they are all seated together is cuz if 36 random player join at the same time, they fill 4 new tables. I love me a good conspiracy theory but this is all in function of shitty structrues that allow this kind of strategy. I personally stopped playing the late MTTs cuz because of this max tank each hand they drag on for too long.
When you say they banned you from commenting, where was that? who banned you? from where? Some context would be nice.
Yeah I agree that Ignition is not an honest site. It would be very easy for them to fix this problem.
But yes, I do think it's possible that there are a group of people who share a piece of information about a way to get a new 90 seconds each turn. It's definitely possible for them to be seated with each other pretty often if they are registering right when the clock hits 00:03, or whatever they agree to do.
Not saying you're wrong though. It's also possible that you are exactly right, that these are house operated bots

These guys aren't simply max late reg/stalling for 20 seconds each turn though. They are burning 110 seconds each turn because they get a new 90 second time bank after every hand.

Here is an example of what we're talking about. Player #617 has a full 90 second timebank at the start of the video. He uses all of it, and then the very next hand (2:36) he has a full 90 second time bank. He uses all of this timebank, and then for a third hand (6:35) he has another 90 second time bank.
sorry camera is all over the place. I was playing other tables on other monitor, but this should be good enough

Ignition banned me from the "user forums" that are on the Ignition website. The mods replied to my suspicions about late reg collusion/bots that my comments were "Disruptive Behavior". They literally offered zero assistance in addressing the problem and chose to silence me and ban me from the poker forum. If you want to play on Ignition/Bovada, go for it....knock yourself out.
For me, it's a NEVER EVER again.
Only a fool would play there.

I'm starting to understand that Igniton has "shills" that defend them on social media forums to blunt the damage from honest players exposing them. I firmly believe Ignition controls these "bots" in every tournament with mass late registrations. It's a super profitable scam, but it's also very easy to record the scam and expose it. The bottom line is that they don't care and will continue this practice while silencing anyone that asks questions in their own forums.
Further, if I am right about this, then what else are they doing to cheat players?
why would you trust a site that doesn't display usernames? the only reason you'd exclude that functionality is if you don't want players able to track their opponents, which would only happen if you're operating a scam with internal bots/rigged game play
Whether the accounts are bots or humans, it is a massive advantage to be able run an extra 90 seconds every hand.
I would rather play a bot without this advantage than a human with the advantage. Some of these tournaments are essentially just stalling competitions.
I honestly haven't noticed the extra time bank thing, but maybe it happens when you close the app? It'd be easy to implement if you really try it and use a timer ie let your initial timebank run out, then wait until it's going to fold you and close the app for 90 seconds, re-open it and so on and so forth, worth doing for someone looking to secure $50 or whatever amount. Its hard for me to imagine Ignition allowing such a blatant advantage play for 'their bots', it'd be easier and more effective to have a few superuser accounts and cheat everyone out of their money like that.
There are a huge number of people who register in the last few seconds, and (most) of them get seated together at new tables perforce. If you register with 5 seconds to go, you too will have a 90ish% chance of being seated at one of the new tables. Most of them are not colluding, just acting in their own self-interest and trying to fold into the money.
I have never seen a table where everyone used 90 seconds repeatedly.
I have seen a handful of occasions where ONE person at my table seemed to get extra time -- something like running their time bank down to 10 or 20 seconds, disconnecting, reconnecting, and having 90 seconds again -- which I tend to assume is a bug in the software that a few folks have learned how to exploit, rather than evidence of a superuser.
I've not videoed it; I am usually on more than one table, and just occasionally notice it taking longer than usual for a staller to time out.
People need to stop explaining max late reg in the thread. Everyone knows about it and why people do it. What people have described and provided evidence for is that there is a group that colludes after being seated together by waiting for the full time amount (+timebank) and doing things like limp folding bvb when it’s only another .2bb to call, and folding premiums to keep all members of the group on the table. It’s a different phenomenon than max late regging.
As a fellow max late regger every tournament. I am very aware whats going on with these bots. I addressed it a few months ago in these forums. But basically what I have gathered is... There are about 9-10 "bots" or "colluders" They all MLR at the exact same time. For the most part they all get on the same table and all have numbers in consecutive order. For example in the nightly $55 there are anywhere from 5-8 max late reg tables. About 1 or 2 of them will be "bots" "colluders" or whatever. You can spot this by them having their numbers all in a sequence. THEN to confirm its them watch their betting habbits. Normally they will run their time banks the 1st hand and 2 "bots" just flat call the BB. They will then go every street taking the max amount of time on flop//turn//river. They will then have whoever has the lowest amount of chips win the hand on the river by betting and having other "bot" fold. I noticed this a few months ago when I was at the bot table in a $500 tournament and should have easily min cashed. But all the bots colluded against me obviously. I tweeted out video proof of this to Ignition and bovada on twitter but per usual they didnt do ***** about it. The easiest way to spot these bots are playing the nightly $150 and the high roller on sundays. Its insane getting on their table because its like they all know each others cards and im just here like okay playing against a bunch of colluding bots.
^^^^ Yes, exactly. They are also in the morning 75+7 every day that it runs. Registration cuts off around 12:39-12:40 EST, and if they have at least 7 players from their group at the same table, they will make the first hand go all the way to the break at 12:55. Max time bank from everyone, then sb limping, check every street. In the rare even that they have a chop, they will min-bet click back and forth until they're all in. I saw a hand take 21 minutes one time. They register really really late, like :02 left

It's literally EVERY MTT that Ignition runs. This scam has to be making them tens of millions of dollars a year. Ignition doesn't discriminate. They scam the $11 player just like they scam the $1100 buy in player, and everything in between.

Here is was the first hand today from the team in the morning 75+7.
My guess is that either #117, #119, or #123 were just a max late regger not part of the team, because #119 and #123 could have preserved more timebank had #117 not shoved.
#119 folded as early as he could, knowing that they could still get to the break with #123's bank and #117's non auto-muck

What you just posted is just normal people abusing the the EV gained from 4 hours of late reg ...
Now the timebank glitch thing that seems legit but just using the allotted timebank is not cheating lols ...
